For families, we provide a top-quality cot and travel cot for use in shaded outdoor areas.

Relax on the large sofas and enjoy the Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, BBC, and more using your own log in and preferences. On cooler evenings, the wood burner adds a cozy ambiance.
* Solar-Heated Swimming Pool: The 10x5m solar-heated saltwater pool is perfect for swimming, relaxing, or soaking up the sun.

By Victoria & Guy on 25-Jul-2025A lovely stay! The villa was far more spacious than we had imagined from the photos. Particularly lovely dining/kitchen area. Such a peaceful location too and close to Tavira and Olhao for lovely day excursions and delicious fish restaurants. Sharon and Tim were so hospitable and offered useful tips on the area.
Another fantastic holiday

The villa is really spacious, spotless and the views are amazing. The surrounding garden is beautiful and the heated pool was really nice. Great place to have a BBQ on the warmer days, but also nice that we could use the wood burner in the living room during the (somewhat) cooler evenings. The kitchen has all you need (even a cheese slicer for us Dutchies ;-) The wifi has a really fast connection. The surrounding area is really beautiful and has nice villages, beaches and places to visit and great restaurants. Sharon and Tim are really knowledgeable and helpful, the perfect hosts. What better place to stay during the big black out in April 2025. We already booked for 2026! Sharon and Tim thanks again for everything and see you next year!
Another great week at Monte Calicos
By Helen & Tom on 03-May-2025Just back from another great week at Monte Calicos (our 3rd year in a row) and missing it already! 3 generations of our family stayed again this year and we had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well equipped villa. The villa, gardens and pool (which got lots of use this year) are gorgeous. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need, its comfortable and beautifully furnished. But what continues to set this villa apart is its wonderful hosts, Tim and Sharon. So thoughtful and accommodating to the needs of our family group. Looking forward to next year already!
Winter in the sun
By Becky & Ted on 12-Mar-2025We had the very best stay at Monte Calicos over the winter. The house is spacious and beautiful. We loved having an en suite bathroom per bedroom. The garden is so peaceful with beautiful views. We loved sitting next to the pool and listening to the birds. The outside bbq area was absolutely brilliant too. The walk down to Moncarapacho from the house was just gorgeous. Looking at the yellow flowers and the ancient Roman road. There is so much to see and do in the area...and we can't wait to return
Villa that never disappoints

We are a group of 8, including teenagers and elderly parents and this villa is loved by all. The place is spotless, with en-suites in every room and the living area is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and there are games, books and jigsaws available too. We all love the pool and it’s perfect for swimming lengths and games, whilst enjoying gorgeous views. Tim and Sharon, the owners, are fantastic hosts and we really cannot fault our stay. We would recommend this villa to anyone. Thanks for a wonderful stay again. We’ll be back next year! Xx
