Fabulous villa, plenty of room for the family and baby. Great pool and gardens. Highly recommend. Sharon and Tim were very helpful and gave us loads of info on places to visit.
We enjoyed a lovely week staying in Villa Monte Calicos, it was the perfect place to chill out, everything we imagined and more. The location was stunning, with fabulous views all the way to the sea in the distance and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area. The villa itself was beautifully laid out with ensuites in each room, meaning we could all have our own spaces while still being all together. We were 7 adults and a 14mth baby and we felt we had plenty of personal space between us. The veranda was a favourite of ours as it provided plenty of shade in the day and was a beautiful setting for our dinners each night. The villa was fully equipped with everything we could need, including a travel cot, high chair and pool toys as well as puzzles and a great tv and speaker systems. The brick built barbecue was also a nice touch for preparing evening meals. Thanks to Tim and Sharon for being wonderful hosts! We found the WhatsApp groupchat to be most helpful and informative and felt we could ask them anything. Their recommendations for day trips out and restaurants were particularly useful and we wouldn't hesitate to come back as they feel like friends. The Chatham Family x
What an absolutely fabulous two weeks stay. The Villa is absolutely stunning, perfect for families and had everything we could possibly have needed. We all loved our early morning dip in the pool and the walk into the local village for food and a drink. Tim and Sharon are exceptional and we could not have asked for better hosts - some fantastic recommendations on local things to do and places to eat and drink and we will definitely be seeing you again. We spent a fantastic week at Monte Calicos at the end of July. The location of the villa is absolutely stunning, set in beautiful grounds with amazing views and a wonderful heated swimming pool. We holidayed as two families of 4 and the layout of the villa was perfect for us, two wings with two bedrooms each and really spacious living areas. Everything about the Villa is so well thought out and it is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Sharon and Tim are fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We had a fantastic stay at this stunning villa, located in a beautiful spot. We spent our days beside the lovely pool enjoying the tranquil setting. The Villa was well equipped with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Tim & Sharon were excellent hosts, always on hand if needed and gave us lots of options for eateries in & around the area. We would like to thank Tim & Sharon for the surprise drinks on arrival which got the holiday off to a great start! We would not hesitate in recommending this Villa & hope to return very soon.
We were greeted on arrival by the very nice owners. The villa was well presented and both clean and tidy and had fridges, freezers, a washing machine etc. the gardens were pleasant to walk round and in quiet surroundings. The pool was good and warm and we spent much of our time in and out of it. It was close to a village that was walkable. By car there were many restaurants with good food and also many places to visit. Altogether we were very happy there and can't wait to go back next year. We are counting the days
