Description
Casa Maria is one of 3 villas, on a quiet 5-acred hilltop, nestling into the brow of the foothills of Sao Miguel, with stunning sea and countryside views, mature gardens and a large 10m x 5.5m pool.This rustic paradise of cottages, amid rambling gardens, has been lovingly restored to retain it's Algarvean charm.
At the same time, each cozy cottage provides every modern amenity, including a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, WI-FI, IPTV & Internet etc.
We are eco-friendly. We now have solar power, including solar heating for pool.
This 2 bedroom house can accomodate 6 people as follows:
The en suite master bedroom can be set up with either a kingsize double, or 2 single beds.
The ensuite second bedroom, with twin beds, can be set up as a kingsize double.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning / heating.
2 bathrooms with showers, both en-suite.
Well equipped kitchen with dish washer, clothes washer and microwave and dining area on upper level.
Large open lounge on lower level.
For cooler evenings there is a balanced flue gas heater in the Lounge to supplement the Woodburner
Casa Maria is attached to the west side of Casa Helene, elevated and separated by an arch and shrubs.
One of the double bedrooms has a private patio shaded by a 300-year old carob tree.
The large private patio at the front of the house has a built-in barbecue.
All rooms have beautiful views of the countryside and the sea.
There is a Badminton court behind the house
TV: There is Netflix and Prime. If you want to watch normal UK channels, BBC, ITV etc. please bring your firestick (and before leaving the UK add the TV channel apps and a VPN APP to it)
There is private parking behind the house.
Casa Maria forms part of the Monte Velho estate. Monte Velho (traditionally meaning an old community) offers an ideal retreat in the sun yet close to all amenities, bars and restaurants and the gorgeous sandy coastline with numerous unspoilt beaches.
No smoking indoors.
No pets, please.
Prices are for a week. Saturday to Saturday, but flexible when possible. Please ask.
Prices are in UK Pounds. Euros also accepted at current rate of exchange.
You may make a "provisional" booking whilst you find flights.
25% to owner to confirm booking & the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival.. Please request bank details.
Payment Protections Certificate is issued by Simply Owners, gratis.
