Leave ReviewA lovely villa, Irini and her sister were very welcoming and helpful.
By A Holiday Lettings verified reviewer on 23-Jun-2013The villa was very good and we were made very welcome by the owners. It had everything we needed and the poll was very large. Views fantastic. The area was quieter than we expected, even quieter than Kalami which we do not expect but we were able to get to all amenities without use of a car. The weather was unsettled which was also a surprise; we had not been to Corfu this early in the year before. I think it would be better to wait until end of June if you want assured warm weather.
Large family villa in a quiet spot with lovely views
By CarolineJPearce on 06-Jul-2013We have just returned from Eirini and Dora's beautiful villa (7 adults and 4 children under 5). The villa was spotless and the pool just the right temperature for cooling off after lazy days in the sun. The pool is next to the house but gated off, so secure from young children and there are 4 tavernas and a small supermarket within walking distance. also a small pebbly beach and a small marina if you wish to hire a boat. We loved it!
Great villa for a large group of family and friends
By Alison D on 05-Sep-2013Our two week stay at Villa Andonis was fantastic. Our hosts made us very welcome and made sure that we had everything we needed. The villa is very well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay and plenty of space for everyone. Fabulous location with amazing views, with just a short walk to the beach and the tavernas of Nissaki. It was great to have a pool as well as a beach, all within walking distance! We didn't hire a car but we did hire a boat for a couple of days which was lovely, hopping along the coast for a swim or lunch in one of the lovely tavernas. This corner of Corfu is for you if you are looking to avoid the crowds - very pretty, lots of nice bays and little beaches.
Lovely villa, fantastic weather, great holiday in wonderful Corfu.
By CoachHouseBandB on 15-Oct-2013Best part of the island to stay for quiet family time. Beautiful location, near to the beach and local shops and tavernas. The pool and outside eating area is relaxing and set up with everything we needed, even a table tennis table for those feeling energetic! Surrounded by hibiscus and oleander, olives and lemon trees, a lovely place to stay.
The best villa we have ever stayed in
By Nathalie H on 06-Jan-2015Villa Andonis is the perfect villa for a large family. Three couples and 4 big teenagers felt really comfortable there. The setting is breathtaking, with views ot the Albanian coast. It is situated far enough from the main road that is is quiet but is still walking distance from local anemities (shops, bars, restaurants) and the beach. The swimming pool is as large as it looks on the pictures and there were occasions when the 10 of us actually played in it together. Eirini and Dora are brilliant hosts, making you feel at home and bending over backwards to help you and advise you. They came to clean every few days and the pool was also cleaned 2x a week. I cannot fault it in any way and it is the best villa we have stayed in over the last 10 years. We are already planning our next stay there.
Wonderful villa for family celebration in Corfu
By Katie_RL_40 on 27-Jul-2015We have just spent 2 weeks in Villa Andonis to celebrate Grannie's big birthday. 7 adults and 5 children aged 8, 6, 5, 3 and 3.5 months! The villa is brilliantly appointed in that none of us felt on eachother's toes. There was plenty of room for everyone with ensuite bathrooms, comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. Dora and Eirini were extremely welcoming and hospitable hosts, never once complaining about the mess that could be made by so many small children in their beloved villa. They worked so hard to answer our questions, help us with our needs and provided a non-stop source of very drinkable local wine (much cheaper than we would have paid in the local shops). The views are spectacular and the villa itself is engulfed by stunning flowers and lemon trees (we enjoyed our own fresh lemon presse every day)! It is perfectly situated far enough away from the coastal road to avoid the noise and chaos of the traffic, yet close enough to the stunning Nissaki beach, local tavernas and perfectly stocked mini supermarkets. We hired cars and boats to explore more of the island and spent many hours enjoying the fantastic swimming pool (shade wasn't an issue due to the excellent extra-large umbrella and romantic sitting curtained area). Tip - burn local Greek coffee to keep the wasps away at meal times (although they are not as aggressive as UK wasps and you shouldn't let them put you off). Sounds strange but the coffee really does seem to help. We would happily book Villa Andonis again, either with a group of adult friends or other young families.
