2 Bedroom Villa With Private Pool Sleeps 2 - 4 Air conditioning Romantic Wi-Fi Walk to tavernas King size double bed
The Villa Aphrodite enjoys a quiet beachside position just 1 minutes walk to the beautiful undeveloped 2km beach. As this beach is hidden away it rarely gets busy, and when the visitors leave, you could have it all to yourselves. 2 local beach tavernas (from 600m) are conveniently walking distance. There are breathtaking far reaching sea views towards both the Akamas National Park and Chrysochou Bay towards Pomos. The upstairs balcony overlooking the sea is a lovely spot for breakfast or evening drinks whilst watching the sunset, enjoying the changing colours of the Akamas hills, and if you are lucky, you may experience a moonrise over the sea. This villa has a well equipped kitchen, a handy downstairs WC, a king size double bed, beautiful unique wooden staircase and pretty garden secluded by a thick hedge. The pool terrace has sea views and you can enjoy meals al fresco in complete privacy. Excellent waterfront fish restaurants can be sampled at Latchi Marina (2.3km), along with a small selection of shops and supermarkets. You can hire a small boat with cool box or take a mini cruise. The Baths of Aphrodite and start of the Akamas National Park with its crystal clear blue lagoon and variety of walking trails is 2.3km. Despite being a town, Polis (5km) has retained the relaxed feel of a village, with an interesting mix of old and new, and a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The location of this homely villa is quiet and private yet not isolated, and ideal for couples and small families. Web rates are discounted and apply for 1 -2 adults, or 1 - 2 adults + children
Another wonderful holiday!
By Anne Margaret Wilson on 20-Jul-2019
We have just returned from another fantastic holiday at Villa Aphrodite. Each time we visit we find it harder to leave and we come home and look forward to our next visit. If you want to step off the treadmill of life for a spell and recharge your batteries there is no better place. Just want we needed! We highly recommend it - and Sundance.
well equipped house near to the "Aphrodite" - beach
By Christoph Lange on 15-Sep-2018
Villa Aphrodite is one of the best villas we rented all over europe. The house is well equipped and perfect for those, who want to do trecking at the AKAMAS-peninsula. Troodos-mountains are far away, it takes more than 1,5 hours to go there. But in late march we prefer the lovely trecks at Akamas. The track at Avakas-Gorge is very difficult and not to be done with sandals or sneakers! Some hints for german people: 1) try to rent a car with automatic ! Helpfull: billiger-mietwagen.de 2) best supermarket at Paphos is - to our opinion - the Alpha Mega, you pass by coming from the airport. 3) good restaurant to be reached by foot: Aphrodite Beach Hotel (!), not at the beach, not the Bath of Aphrodite Taverna. Try the buffet or the fish-Meze.
Excellent well equipped villa, great hamper!
By Brian B. on 11-Aug-2018
Hi Irene, Just a quick line to thank you for a lovely break at the above villa last week. We had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. The villa was excellent, very well equipped and the hamper left for us was very welcoming, including a very delicious home baked cake. Unfortunately back to reality with temperatures about half they were in Cyprus, but happy memories. Many thanks Brian
The location and views were stunning - totally beautiful
By Wendy Porter on 04-Aug-2018
Hello Irene Been really busy since our return but just want so say how very much we enjoyed our stay in the Villa Aphrodite. It was a pleasure communicating with you during the booking and both Cybreeze and Nikkos were great to deal with. The villa and pool were so relaxing and the welcome hamper really appreciated as was the change of linen at 7days. The location and views were stunning - totally beautiful. The tavernas we visited were all lovely and the people so friendly but we especially enjoyed the Aphrodite Baths restaurant for food and spectacular views. This was the first time we have booked a villa, and as I mentioned earlier we were so pleased with your support throughout the whole booking process and we do hope to book another holiday with Sundance villas in the near future. The villa Aphrodite was just perfect for the two of us, near a beach, quiet but not too far from restaurants etc. Which of your other villas would you recommend us to look at and are they only in Cyprus? We flew from Gatwick but would prefer to fly from Stansted as it is our nearest airport. Have you any information on flights from there or Norwich or Luton? Look forward to hearing from you
Perfect. i was in desperate need of peace and tranquility, i found this and more!
By Concetta on 28-Jul-2018
Dear Irene , I just want to say a very big thank you to you for making my stay in Cyprus so perfect. I was in desperate need of peace and tranquility, I found this and more! The villa was perfect and as you said secluded but not isolated, so as a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. The owners made me feel very welcome and the pre ordered shopping meant I could settle in and relax as soon as I arrived. The only thing I can fault is that I booked for a week and not longer, so I would love to return in September !!! I will be in touch shortly to see if this is possible. Kindest regards Concetta xx PS. Your choice in wine (red Status 99 Kolios winery) was perfect too x
Our favourite area, off the beaten track
By Isobella Sinclair on 21-Jul-2018
Dear Irene, Just a quick note to thank you for recommending this fabulous property to us. As you know we had visited the beach previously on a day trip, so it was really wonderful to have it all to ourselves. On a couple of evenings, we took our bottle of wine and a picnic to the beach then deserted, and had a gorgeous swim in the warm sea, then laid under the starlit sky, we could not ask for more....

Dear Irene We returned from Aphrodite Villa last week and I just wanted to let you know that we had an amazing time. The villa was wonderful. The location was tranquil and stunning and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody who requires a restful holiday. We enjoyed the sights and hospitality of Cyprus and are hoping to return in the future when we will certainly be trying to book Aphrodite again.
A holiday to remember, recommend to those who want to escape for a while
By Ann Burroughs on 09-Jun-2018
Hi Irene Well we are back and had a lovely peaceful time. The views were wonderful, the weather glorious and the pool refreshing in the heat - just as you promised!! The villa interior has obviously been upgraded since your photos were taken and the new furniture downstairs was very comfortable. Oh, and thank you for the bottle of champagne - a lovely thought!
Delightful villa and we swam in sea every day
By Aidan & Lesley Nugent on 02-Jun-2018
Dear Irene We did enjoy our holiday very much in Cyprus although it was “very hot” which we did not expect for June!! Regarding the villa, we were absolutely delighted with the location especially as we like to swim in the sea every day... we would like to say that Dimitri, Anu (the pool man) and the cleaners were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. In conclusion we had a great time and look forward to returning to Cyprus on some other future occasion.
Every time i went upstairs i could not believe the views of the sea from the bedroom windows
By Ed And Judi Kelly on 05-May-2018
Hi Irene We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Aphrodite. Everything was better than expected - the position of the villa, the views and the design and fittings inside. It was so quiet and relaxing - only the sound of the birds and a few little fishing boats. I guess it would get busier during July and August. We met Charoullah and Socrates who were very welcoming and made us a delicious cake which lasted most of the week. Every time I went upstairs I could not believe the views of the sea from the bedroom windows - I don't think you would better it anywhere and also to be so close to such a lovely beach. What more can I say - we would love to return... Thank you for all your help and also Nicole who contacted us on arrival and visited the following morning to answer any questions. I will certainly be recommending it to all my friends.
Truly lovely with beautiful views
By Brenda And Bob S. on 07-Apr-2018
Hi Irene, Just returned from our holiday in Cyprus staying at the Aphrodite Villa. This Villa was absolutely lovely. We were met by the owner who was friendly and welcoming, and had baked a lovely cake for us and put a vase full of red roses on the table. The Villa was decorated to a high standard and the furniture and fittings exceptional a very comfortable place to be. The view from the bedroom balcony is exceptional and to the left, is beautiful. We had a lovely time and wished we had booked two weeks. We did ask Nicole if the villa was booked from 29th, it was so we couldn’t extend our stay. We would consider booking again for next year for two weeks ... It was a truly lovely holiday and thank you so much.
An artistically and lovingly decorated 2-bedroomed villa in our favourite spot in Cyprus
By Gilly Clarke on 07-Apr-2018
Hello Irene, Re Repeat visit to Villa Aphrodite after 5 years Villa Aphrodite is close to one of the best and least crowded beaches..particularly in June! The villa was better than we remembered! Charroulla has made it a home from home with so many lovely items! Also so well equipped. We particularly admired the plentiful large thick towels and embroidered sheets! Socrates visited soon after our arrival and brought us a meal his mum had made. The path down to the beach is as before too, and the beach totally unspoiled, despite the taverna at one end and the hotel at the other. It's so vast most of it remains empty! The garden is very private and the pool clean. We were genuinely delighted to find the whole area has not really changed much in 5 years...just "tidied up" in places, and more holiday homes, but all fitting in with the landscape. Many people remembered us which was great! (or should we be worried?) Apart from the first and last day there, which was cloudy and windy, the weather was as hot as I remember from our last visit in August. Polis is the nearest small town, which has a delightful central area of small shops and tavernas. Do go to Moustakalis restaurant...he and his father don't seem to have aged in 10 yrs , and their moustaches flourish! The food and service is superb. The taverna close to Aphrodite's Pool has good food and a lovely view, but can get busy with coaches etc. Aphrodite Beach taverna is a delight for a cool place to sit, eat and drink on a hot day, and one can swim and sunbathe there too. Latsi, the closest village, is great for stocking up, with a few "supermarkets". It's virtually hidden harbour has so improved from our first visit! There are tavernas/restaurants all along the front. The drive through Polis and around the bay to Pomos is lovely. Go to Kannelli's (not sure re name) taverna over a small beach and harbour. Then over the mountain to Kato Pyrgos (SP?) and the N. Cyprus border. Again we were treated as friends where ever we went. The owners have built a 4 bedroomed villa next to Aphrodite, Villa Amorosa. I'm sure it will be stunning! I would recommend both villas. Please tell Charoulla and Socrates, also Michael, that we hope to go back soon.
Many many thanks for one of our best holidays ever!
By Val Sherwood on 01-Oct-2017
Many many thanks for one of our best holidays ever. We first saw this beautiful coastline of Cyprus in June 09 from a boat trip to the blue lagoon, which was amazing. It was a glass bottom boat and the turquoise water was so inviting, we both climbed down the steps and had a lovely swim, even though we hadn't intended to. When we got back to Latchi we decided to drive the 10 mins down towards the Baths of Aphrodite to look for somewhere to stay next time, and we enjoyed a cold beer in the taverna there. All around people were tucking in to their fish meze and enjoying spectacular coastal views. There are some big villas along this coast but we liked the look and location of Villa Aphrodite and took a note of the contact details. Irene was very helpful and as we were just 2 persons she gave us a lower rate. When we arrived the owner was so welcoming, we really felt at home, and she left us with a lovely cake and our pool towels. The weather in October was much better than usual, and the pool and sea were really warm. The villa is comfortable and had everything we needed. Most days we had this lovely beach to ourselves, and you reach it by a track in front of the villa. Some evenings we could hear the tinkling of a piano, probably from the Anassa Hotel at the far end of the beach. After a couple of bad years this holiday really recharged our batteries and we would definitely go back. A big thank you to Dinos and family at Baths of Aphrodite Taverna and to all at Sundance Villas. And to Nicole our Rep who gave us lots of helpful advice and maps.
Lovely villa, suitable for both couples and families
By Nick H. on 14-Jun-2017
Dear Irene, We had a lovely time, although as expected it was very hot. The Villa was lovely, particularly the pool and outside areas, the beach was also a big plus being so close by. It's a quiet spot so I think it would suite both couples and families. We particularly enjoyed Latchi in the evenings, although there are some nice restaurants in Polis too. The doughnut van was brilliant ! I think our highlight was hiring a boat one afternoon and exploring the coastline and stopping off at the blue lagoon. We also enjoyed our drive to Pomos where we had an excellent lunch. On the way at Argaka we stopped off at some waymarked trails, too hot to go far when we arrived, but early morning or late afternoon would be ideal. The longest walk was about 10k, but there were others of 2/3k. We visited the Waterpark at Paphos which was another highlight. Although not overly big, there were very few queues, and my daughter Amy, who's 9, was able to go on all but a few. It's the first time she's really enjoyed a waterpark. Please let the owners know we had a great time, and that we very much enjoyed the cake. Kind Regards, Nick H
Gorgeous villa and dreamy setting
By David Kingdon on 05-Apr-2017
Dear Irene, We had a lovely time at Villa Aphrodite. Socrates and Charoulla were there to welcome us complete with cake. The villa is gorgeous and the setting was dreamy. There was hardly anyone else around and mostly we had the beach to ourselves. One of the highlights was walking the Aphrodite nature trail in the Akamas park - the views were breathtaking. The villa was both spic and span and well equipped and stocked with food to get us comfortably started. The weather was perfect, hotter than expected and I only saw one mosquito. April seems like a perfect time to visit. I'd have no difficulty recommending Sundance Villas to friends or family and we would certainly consider coming back. Thank you for recommending Villa Aphrodite. Our time there has given us many delightful memories. Warm regards, David Kingdon
Excellent villa with the best welcome hamper, much appreciated after a tiring travelling day
By Mr & Mrs Ramsden on 02-Jul-2016
Hello Irene, The villa was excellent and the welcome pack was one of the best we have ever had. The cake from the owners was huge and lasted all week. A lovely touch. The car hire company was very good. The restaurants in Latchi are all very good. We had some lovely meals in Y & P, Faro's and Molos. We would certainly use Sundance Villas again.
Fantastic! We love your villas!
By Margaret And Nick P on 04-Jun-2016
Hi Irene We both had a very relaxing holiday at the villa Aphrodite. Everything we needed was there ie lovely selection of food and wine. We also had beach towels as well. The villa was very clean spacious and airy. We felt the villa would be suitable for couples or families, because of it's fabulous location, its quiet and peaceful but only 5 min drive into Latchi. The owners Charroulla and Socrates were very welcoming and friendly Charroulla even baked us TWO large cakes DELICIOUS. The following Sunday they invited us both down to Latchi for a drink and ice cream. Nicole texted to let us know when she was visiting and she showed us how to change the channel to dvd on the tv and was very helpful. We recommend the Aphrodite Restaurant a short drive down the road from the villa, had the best moussaka I have tasted and the prices are reasonable. Denos was pleased with the photo of his restaurant we passed onto him from you. WOULD RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN TO VILLA APHRODITE!! Repeat and regular clients
