Villa Quardia is a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom hidden gem majestically situated on a stunning hillside in peaceful countryside, offering panoramic unspoilt views of mountains, valley and sea. The villa has no immediate neighbours and the pool and poolside cannot be overlooked, so it's an ideal spot for an all over tan and complete relaxation.

The comfortable interiors are stylishly decorated with quality furnishings and finishes providing a light, informal ambience. To keep in touch with the outside word Wi-Fi internet access is provided. Mosquito screening is provided at all windows, and is practical for letting the cool mountain air in, without insects.

The beautiful stone property blends naturally with its surroundings and benefits from a superb location in Pano Akourdaleia, named Quardia in ancient times, a quaint and traditional village, full of character, and just waiting to be explored.
This area has absolutely stunning scenery. The sea view is Polis, about 20 minutes drive. Akamas National Park with its 2 beautiful soft sand beaches at Lara Bay, and wild unspoilt interior famed for its flora and fauna is 20 mins in the other direction. And of course the blue flag beaches of Coral Bay and Latchi beaches are just a short drive away.

At night time the stars’ sparkle like diamonds, as there is no light pollution here.
The villa is just 500m from the local hotel open to non residents for food and drinks, and a cafe. Down the hill is newly opened Sto Mouseio, beer garden serving food. 5 minutes’ drive uphill to local tavernas, bars and shops in Kathikas village. Clients’ favourite taverns here include Yiannis, To Stekki Tou Panai and more formal Imogen’s Inn. Miliou village is downhill from the villa and has a good taverna too.

The excellent Villa Quardia owners Dinos and Vicky live nearby and are available if needed, and only visit on request. They can also advise when the pool man will visit, as they appreciate clients booking Villa Quardia like to be private. Their understanding of this, and their subtle and thoughtful approach to our clients is much appreciated, resulting in client relaxation and many repeat bookings.

What a fabulous time we had!

By Sarah M on 21-Aug-2025

My husband and I visited Villa Quardia in July/August for two weeks and what a fabulous time we had. The villa had everything needed and more than anything, the thing we were after most, it was peaceful. Other than the dogs in the distance that liked a bark at feeding time, and the litter patter of pigeons on the roof sometimes, it was gloriously quiet and serene. The wonderful hamper left for us was an added bonus after a late flight in. I would 100% recommend the villa if you, like is, need to recharge your batteries in a place that feels like you are a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday…

We have just returned home after 2 weeks at the Villa Quardia. What a beautiful villa and location!

We have just returned home after 2 weeks at the Villa Quardia. What a beautiful villa and location! It was very peaceful, and the views were stunning. The villa was very well equipped and spacious. We loved the pool and made use of the BBQ in the evenings. We have used Cy-Breeze car rental many times on arrival at Paphos airport. Never had any problems and we’re always quickly on our way. Thank you Cy-Breeze! We can recommend the following restaurants: To Stekki Tou Panai, Kathikas Stone Lion Tavern, Goudi Island Beach Bar, Latchi Chix – Chox, Polis All served great food and were reasonably priced. We can recommend Latchi Watersports for paragliding. If, like us you are dog lovers and have a spare morning, please reach out to the Polis Pound Dog Rescue. You can volunteer to take the dogs out for a walk or just show them some love & attention. We did this and would recommend. Lastly thank you to Lauren & Irene. We have booked with them many times. The booking process and communications are great. We have already booked our holiday with them for 2026 and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Irene and Lauren were amazing. Cannot recommend Sundance Villas enough.

Irene and Lauren were amazing. Cannot recommend Sundance Villas enough. The communication, the booking process and paperwork, and of course Villa Quardia in Cyprus was amazing. The car hire they suggested was also first class with a car just outside arrivals ready and waiting for us, which made our escape from the airport a no fuss, no waiting experience. The directions to our remote villa( including junction and turning photos ) meant we couldn’t go wrong. Amazing location too and it's a lovely big house with a clean pool and great views. Thank you

Piece of heaven. Quardia Villa is not just a holiday property. It has that something 'extra special'

By Annette L Edinburgh on 11-May-2016

This beautiful villa, set in a tranquil and private area just outside Pano Akourdaleia, was our piece of heaven for two weeks this spring. We stepped inside and felt the calm and care put into every detail of this holiday gem. We have had many villa holidays over the years but this one is by far the best, and we will be back again next year. A generous hamper was waiting for us which was perfect as we had a late arrival. The four-poster double bed with fabulous jacuzzi bath en-suite was very comfortable. All the bedrooms were en-suite and had balconies with furniture. In the kitchen we were amazed at the array of appliances, utensils, crockery, and cutlery supplied. The owners have been very thoughtful of guests' needs. The open plan arrangement of dining/sitting room/ kitchen was spacious and well provided with good furniture. There was free Wifi which we used to keep in touch with friends and family. No video or written description can say how fabulous it is outside. We went at the start of May. The rose gardens, lawns, and flaming red bottle brush trees were so pretty, and we have never seen such an array of wild life. In UK it is always a thrill to see an odd butterfly fluttering by, but here they were all around us, giving added colour to what already was a pretty picture. The centre piece was the lovely pool and an adjacent well constructed wooden BBQ area offering lots of shade. It is serviced with electrical points and lighting, and has a generous wooden table with benches. The BBQs came complete with motorised attachments, so eating alfresco was a great experience. Surrounding the villa, and seen from every bedroom and balcony, is the stunning scenery, stretching down through the mountains and valleys to the sea. It is very quiet here. You can be at one with nature. No sound of aircraft or traffic. The sky at night is a joy. We had fun listening to two Scops owls calling one another - a single note, repeated every second or two. For anyone into birding, there is plenty to keep you happy here. It was a great comfort to know that Dino and Vicky, who have their home close by, were there if advice or help was needed. They were so welcoming and hospitable. There are several tavernas and restaurants serving very good food close to Pano Akourdaleia, and supermarkets which cover every day needs. The Herb Garden in the village is well worth a visit and it serves refreshing drinks and organic cakes. This may be an idyllic quiet spot, but it is close to Latchi, Polis, and Pomos (our favourite harbour). With good roads and road signs, and a fast motorway from Paphos to Limassol, we were up near the troodos mountains in no time. The beaches, the walks, the forests and tiny villages - all were captivating. We are so looking forward to our return.

Beautifully secluded with a lovely pool and surrounding area bordered by a wonderful array of roses.

Hi Irene, Quardia has come up trumps! It is a lovely Villa with everything you could wish for and we have just returned from a very interesting and restful two weeks. The views are spectacular looking across the Valley and up to the mountains and then turn to the left and you can see the sea at Polis. It is beautifully secluded with a lovely pool and surrounding area bordered by a wonderful array of roses and three “Bottle Brush” bushes which were just coming into full bloom. The Villa itself is fully equipped to a very high standard with very new equipment and the welcome pack was as usual very comprehensive. The villa is set between Pano & Kato Akourdaleia which now have a very good road between Kathikas and the Paphos to Polis road, there are some really good supermarkets in Skoulli, Glykis & Byrons which we found to be very comprehensive and generally cheaper than the large ones in Polis. Whilst on holiday we only have Breakfast and a very light lunch in the villa, there are a lot of good Tavernas in Kathikas, Petradaki in particular was extremely good and very reasonable and if you want a traditional Cypriot meal, Pangratios in Miliou should be visited. If a massage is on your list the Akamas Health Farm at Drouseia has wonderful facilities and very competitive pricing. The small Museum in Steni is well worth a visit as it is very comprehensive and the flowers in and around the village are stunning. Quardia is a fantastic place to stay with lots of wildlife, Lizards galore both skinks and the larger “Dinosaur” variety, Tits feeding their young at the front and Swallows making their nest inside the Pergola, whilst just up the road you can hear and see Goats on their daily trek with a Lady goatherd. There is a Herb Garden just up the road which you can visit. We found loads to do and our two weeks flew by doing something new in Cyprus virtually every day even though we have been coming for over 25 years. If you are intending to visit Cyprus we can recommend Sundance as giving you that bit extra, this is our third time with them and we will be back again in July. Thank you Irene for another great vacation.

We loved it so much we are hoping to get back next year!

By Lynne and Tom on 08-Jun-2016

Hi Irene We both had a fantastic time, the villa was lovely. The owner's family made us so welcome they even gave us fresh lemons and eggs, hopefully we will see them again. We both have the Cyprus bug we loved it so much we are hoping to get back next year our son and his partner and grandson are talking about coming with us if they can get the time off when we are going. We've even had a hint that they would like to get married there they loved the little church in the village where we stayed. I would also like to recommend the Farm Yard in Kathikas the food was excellent and very reasonable. The two girls who looked after us, Olga and Cherry, were lovely. They gave that little extra attention which made going there very pleasant. When we come back next year we will certainly be going back there for a meal, I hope they will still be there.
