Stayed here for 10 days in July and what a super, relaxing 10 days it was!! This was our second visit, having stayed here for 2 weeks at the same time last year. As soon as we walked back through the front door, we felt completely at home.....and some! Everything that you need for that perfect, relaxing break is right there. Everything was immaculate: mind, Isabel the housekeeper is incredible and discreet and such a wonderful asset to the experience of this villa. The pool is amazing - the six of us made plenty use of it throughout our stay. The upstairs seating areas are wonderful - the views are superb. It is close to everything that we wanted and needed; supermarkets, restaurants, beaches. Our only issue? 10 days wasn't enough!! If you're contemplating this wonderful home, don't wait too long to decide to book. Thank you Jan, and the lovely Isabel.

Villa Julia offers everything you could wish for in a luxury vacation in beautiful Portugal. Every need is catered for. The villa is spacious, homely, well designed and exceptionally equipped and truly comfortable. Beautiful sea views from the upper balconies, and multiple seating areas for privacy if required, overlooking well kept gardens. The villa has outside lighting and an excellent security system. The swimming pool is a bonus which lights up at night. A perfect holiday destination.

We were lucky enough to enjoy the luxury of Villa Julia with our growing family for a week in June. From the moment we arrived, we found the villa to be perfect in every way. Large bedrooms, 3 of which have ensuite facilities, and a large bathroom right next door to the room that didn't have the ensuite. 360 degree views from the balcony, which wraps around the villa, you can follow the sun during the day. There are separate seating areas, including an upstairs terrace allowing for quiet privacy if needed by different family members. There is an indoor and outdoor dining area, which is shaded allowing for alfresco dinning in complete comfort. The pool and gardens are beautiful too, and very well tended, again with plenty of comfortable seating. A 15 minute walk takes you to down to Praia Da Luz with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. If you decide to "cook in', this villa provides, everything and more to enable you to cook up a culinary delight for a large group. I have never stayed in such a well equipt rental property. Beautifully maintained, internally and externally. Isabel, the housekeeper, pops in 3 times a week to ensure the villa is kept clean and spotless. A delightful lady, who is incredibly discreet, so as not to disturb your peace. Luz management and the owner of the villa were always on hand should the need arise, which is very rare, as everything has been thought of in advance of your stay. A wonderful place to stay, and would not hesitate in recommending to others. Thank you.
