2 Bedroom Villa in Praia da Luz, Western Algarve, Portugal - Located in the Village of Luz, 250m walk to Beautiful Beach of Praia da Luz, 100m to Shops, Private pool.Casa Canda is a beautiful, well appointed 2 bedroom cottage located in the quiet village of Praia da Luz. It has sea views and its own private pool. Only 250m walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Praia da Luz. Restaurants, shops and 2 excellent supermarkets are within easy walking distance. To the front (south) it has private pool with terrace, bridge and water feature. To the rear it has a private terraced drive for car parking. The cottage is maintained to a high standard. On the lower floor, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with an en-suite shower-room. There is a separate family bathroom. Patio doors lead to terrace, sunbeds and pool. On the upper floor, a nice sized lounge/dining room with patio doors out to balcony and patio dining furniture/BBQ. This room has two sofas, one of which can convert into a comfortable sofa bed.
The kitchen is contemporary and includes granite work surfaces and washing machine. The lounge has a 55" wall mounted SMART TV and beautiful log fire. Electric heaters are provided for winter lets. 3 golf courses within 5-10 minutes drive.

Notes on accommodation: Please note there is flex in sleeping arrangements - double bed, 2 twin beds, double sofa bed, 2 * single sofa/chair beds. However, and for your comfort, the accommodation is for a MAXIMUM of 6 people - 4+2 children. Room fans are provided. For winter lets, there is a beautiful log fire in the lounge - logs can be provided at cost AND two electric heaters are provided for the bedrooms. Outside: The private pool is approx 8.5m x 2.8m. 4 quality sunloungers are provided for the use of guests on the adjacent terrace. On the upstairs balcony terrace, dining patio furniture is provided together with a small BBQ. Sea view from this balcony. Car parking is provided to the rear. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service/cleaning is provided at changeover and mid-week. Linen is changed once per week. Towels are changed mid-week ie 2 sets per week.
During all high seasons and peak season a minimum stay of 7 nights applies

By Ben on 10-Aug-2025This is a lovely property with its own pool, very close to beach and other amenities in Luz. Communication with the owners was good and easy and the property was in a great condition. We found this was a great location to have as a base as you didn't have to travel far for to visit some of the other great places such as Lagos, Portimao and Sagres. It's only about 50 mins from Faro airport too. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again
Loving Luz & Casa Canda
By Oswald Bell on 20-Nov-2024We stayed here for a month - mid October to late November. Casa Canda is all that the listing says it is. The cottage was spotless and was kept that way throughout our stay. Well equipped in the kitchen and had everything we needed. Pretty central location for Western Algarve and lots of sight seeing areas within an easy drive. A 2 minute walk to Restaurants and 4 mins to beach. If we return to Portugal again (from Canada) we would definitely use this property.
