Enchanting sea views, private swimming pool, air-conditioning.Villa Azzurra is a gorgeous villa on Sardinia’s breathtaking south coast. The villa is part of a private gated residence located off the coastal that takes from the island’s historical capital Cagliari to the world-famous beaches of Villasimius. The position of the villa is really stunning as it is set between the Sette Fratelli Park and the Golfo degli Angeli and enjoys fantastic views of both. The villa also enjoys of large outdoor spaces with covered and uncovered verandas on all three sides. Internally the villa is divided on two floors. The large upper floor is composed of spacious dining living area with French doors that lead to a covered veranda with amazing sea views, a fully equipped separate kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen has access to two covered terraces, one in the front equipped with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining with stunning views, and one in the back where the laundry area is located. The lower floor is composed of 3 double bedrooms, one of which with ensuite shower room, there is also a family shower room. All three bedrooms have French doors that lead to a covered terrace. Dining on the front terrace in the evenings is always a special experience where you’ll be able to witness incredible sunsets over the bay and mountains in the distance, the sunset is different every evening but always spectacular! Down a few steps from the main terrace you will find the generous sized sea facing private pool with loungers for sunbathing. Villa Azzurra is perfect for relaxing or for fun filled family holidays, or for couples wanting to escape the hassles of modern life. The Villa is the ultimate place to completely chill and unwind while watching the changing colours and currents of the sea below. Alternatively you could use it as a base for exploring the stunning beaches, historical sites and dramatic scenery of the South Sardinian coast.
Please note that starting from the last week of May changeover day is Saturday and that the minimum stay is 7 nights for the entire season.
The distance from the sea, as the crow flies, is of 500 m. A few minutes drive away you will find several bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The nearest pebble beach is roughly 1 km away. The nearest sandy beach is about 2 km away going in direction of Cagliari. If you do decide to go towards Villasimius the nearest sandy beach is 3 km away. A car is strongly recommended.
Please note that water, gas, electricity (except for the KW used to operate the air-conditioning units for which we have a separate meter) are all included in the price as well as final cleaning, bed linen, and bath towels.

Leave ReviewGreat villa for a relaxing holiday
By Donatella on 12-Sep-2025The location has views to die for. The villa is clean and spacious. It is well equipped with all you need when self catering including the BBQ. The fridge freezer is also a great size so you don’t have to go shopping every couple of days. The pool area is excellent. The pool is big enough to relax in on airbeds and swim properly from one end to the other. It is also deep enough to dive in. And again, the views from here are amazing. This is the 4th time we have stayed here and it never disappoints. Thank you to Angela and Karim for your flexibility allowing us to leave our suitcases there before officially checking in when the villa wasn’t ready so that we could go off to lunch and do our food shopping. This really does help! Hope to be back soon.

Fantastic villa with pool and wonderful views

From the villa and its terraces, as well as from the spacious pool, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the bay of Cagliari. The pool is large enough to swim many laps. The pool is cleaned twice a week. The villa itself is generously laid out and designed, very clean and has all the necessary appliances in the kitchen. The friendliness, helpfulness and availability of the landlady, Mrs Fanunza, deserve special mention.
Comfortable and well equipped villa
By Donatella on 15-Jul-2025This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this villa so it really feels like home now. The views and sunsets are amazing. The location is quiet and within easy reach of great sandy beaches as well as Quartu Sant’Elena where you will find good supermarkets and restaurants. You will, however need a car. The villa is well equipped for cooking at home too. All in all I would totally recommend this villa for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in Sardinia.
