Unforgettable Stay
By James on 17-Jul-2023Paolo was probably the best host I’ve ever had .His home is beautiful, he is friendly and responsive but not overbearing. His recommendations are spot on and he is able to put you in contact with anybody you may need from boat rentals to beach clubs, restaurants and everything in between. He even helped us drive our 11 person passenger van up his driveway! Thanks a ton, Paolo!
Perfect Family Vacation
By Corinne on 16-May-2023Our stay in Paolo's Villa degli Ulivi was absolutely fantastic! The villa is situated in a quiet residential area with a wonderful view of the sea. We spent 6 days there (two families with 3 teenagers) and had a lovely time. The house is very spacious and offers everything one's heart desires: fully equipped kitchen, dining room, etc., four bedrooms with 4 bathrooms, an additional toilet, a large room with a billiard table and a great view of the coast, a very nice garden incl. a lounge for our aperitivi, dining table and many deckchairs in the grounds with orange and lemon trees, flowers, … Paolo is a great host: his explanations were accurate, his response to messages always superquick and his advice for places to eat, see or get one's car repaired very useful. In short: We can only highly recommend this beautiful place and are thinking of returning ourselves next year!
We Will Come Back for sure
By Andrew on 07-Apr-2023I would recommend this place without hesitation. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more. It is spacious and very tastefully decorated. The garden and the views are outstanding. My group of friends and I couldn’t have asked for more. As for the location, assuming you have a car, it is ideal for visiting the places in both the Eastern and Western side of the Ligurian coast, including the Cinque Terre. Paolo is the ideal host. Very friendly but gives you your space. Always ready to go out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed. Attention to detail was never lacking. In a few words, all my group of friends and I agree that our experience at Villa degli Ulivi more than deserves a full 10 on 10.
Luxury and Comfort in Liguria
By Naveen on 17-Jun-2023Had an amazing, wonderful stay at the "Villa Degli Ulivi”. Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable accommodation with a view to die for - you almost have a 180-degree view of the ocean front. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from the cute little balconies in the rooms and from the wide-open terrace in front of the living area on the ground floor. The lovely terrace in front of the villa has got excellent seating arrangement. You can sit around, enjoy a mugful of beer, chat or just enjoy the view. There is a hammock too for relaxing and taking it simple and easy. It was full moon night during our stay here and the shimmering water on account of moonlight was mesmerizing. Lawn next to the Villa and layered garden/orchard just below the villa offered excellent walking area for our furry fellow traveller. Well equipped kitchen with all amenities & large dining area allowed us to enjoy our meals. Paolo is a great host and was always there to help & ensure that we had the most comfortable stay.
