By Trudy on 23-Jul-2025We are a family of 8 and everyone including 3 grandchildren had a lovely time here. Very clean villa and plenty of room inside and out. I personally found the temperature too hot at end of July so took full advantage of the outdoor “reading room”. Luckily I brought a couple of small inflatables with me for the children in the pool as no nearby shops - a car is definitely needed. Beds were very comfy and air con in every room. Parking for 2 cars on the drive. Plenty of outdoor furniture and an excellent barbecue. The only negative thing I can think of is that no plastic beakers/cups were provided for outdoor use for the children and no books or games in the villa. I would definitely recommend.
A Perfect Two-Week Escape in Rhodes

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and perfectly prepared for our holiday. The villa itself is spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could need. We especially loved the outdoor area — the private pool was crystal clear and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the shaded patio was ideal for leisurely breakfasts and evening dinners. The location is fantastic: peaceful and private, yet only a short drive to LINDOS & PEFKOS and some of the island’s most stunning beaches. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, like fresh fruit, local wine, and helpful recommendations on where to eat and what to see. All in all, this villa made our holiday in Rhodes truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Greek island experience. Thanks Alan & Jackie

Didn’t want to come home!
By Ben on 09-Jun-2025I would 100% recommend this villa to anyone who’s staying in Rhodes! The villa is beautiful and has everything you need and more (pizza oven)! Ray the gardener was very welcoming and gave some good insights to the island. Villa is located 5mins drive from Lindos and Pefkos which you must visit whilst you’re there. Unless you plan on getting taxis every day then I would certainly suggest hiring a car!
A Special Place
By Cadi Roberts on 27-May-2025We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Kalisto for 12 nights. Before we arrived Alan had sent us a comprehensive information pack with everything we needed to know for our arrival and beyond. He also gave us car hire recommendations (and managed to get us a discount) a few months prior to our arrival. Communication from Alan was fantastic and made life very easy for us. We also had the pleasure of meeting Julie who looks after the property, who came to do an unexpected mid-stay clean which was a nice surprise. The gardener and pool man were also frequent visitors to keep the outside space in fantastic condition, and they were lovely too. The villa itself is lovely and very well equipped and has had some recent renovations compared to the photos, so it’s better than the photos suggest inside. It was exceptionally clean with lots of bath and pool towels provided which was a bonus. The air con worked perfectly in every room and was much needed for the second half of our stay as the weather became hotter. The star of the show is the outside space, the pool was kept so clean, and was a lovely temperature to cool off in. We used the shaded terrace overlooking the pool and the loungers around it a huge amount, it’s a lovely setting with nice furniture. The view is gorgeous, especially from the upstairs bedrooms’ balconies. We were able to truly relax and unwind in the outside space and spent most of our time there. Our 7-year-old adored the pool and sobbed as he had to get out for the last time! The villa is in a good location, outside the hustle and bustle of Lindos town, but close enough that you’re there in 5 mins by car. A car is recommended. There was a handy taxi company number left for us at the villa which we also used, the taxi was with us within 5 mins of calling. We had a wonderful time, and would not hesitate to recommend the villa to others. Huge thanks to Alan, Jackie and their lovely team who keep things ticking over.
Great Holiday

Fortunately, we are able to take holidays on a regular basis and by now know the difference between good and not so good. Recently some of the villas we have stayed in have not been that great. They look ok in the photos, but they were probably taken when they were newly built. To turn up and find a once spacious, well equipped villa that has been neglected over the years is such a disappointment. However no such problem with Villa Kalisto, you obviously take pride in keeping it well maintained, fixing and replacing items as and when needed. I would highly recommend your villa to future guests.
