Description
If you are a nature lover, Abruzzo and our farmhouse will inspire you. Golden beach, impervious mountain zones, natural lakes and the celebrated National parks offer endless opportunities for the artist or photographer in you. Abruzzo is perfect for indulging in your favourite outdoor activities. Lovers of geology can marvel at majestic rock formations. Abruzzo 's people have the reputation of being kind and friendly.Starting from November throughout all April Abruzzo's mountains are covered with fresh snow. While you are skiing you can enjoy spectacular breathtaking scenery, plenty of sunshine and crisp mountain air.
Majella ski resort is famous for its landscapes. While you are skiing you can look at the sea enjoying an endless panorama.
Rising to almost 2800 metres a.s.l.. the Majella mountains provide panoramic views and perfect places to go trekking and skiing.
Our Property is situated in Roccamorice, a traditional Italian village 2000 ft a.s.l
The owners, Enzo and Roberta, live downstairs, but your first floor apartment is totally independent.
The area is an ideal location both for your winter and summer holidays. Just 15 mins driving is Majella ski resort.
In the summer just 35 mins from the village you can reach the Adriatic sea. You can enjoy sailing, surfing, long relaxing swims or just lying and relaxing on the beach
Roccamorice village has got restaurants, markets, a post office, cheese makers, butcher shop, clothes and shoes shop and several "Agritourism" namely authentic farmhouse-restaurant cooking food solely grown on the attached farm.
During the summer there are local festivals and street markets in the village.
HOW TO GET HERE: Ryanair flights from London Stansted /Manchester to Pescara airport.

By Francesca Z. on 17-Aug-2025Magnificent place, the apartment is very spacious with two beautiful double bedrooms. Very clean and very welcoming, like being at home! The outdoor area is very large and well-kept, with a lovely patio where you can eat outside, a very nice swimming pool, a soccer field, a volleyball court, and other entertainment options. The area is very convenient. The owners are very kind and very discreet and helpful. Highly recommended, if I were to return to Abruzzo I would stay there again. I have rarely found such a beautiful apartment. My kids had a great time too!
Lovely stay
By Mike Wigfield on 30-Jun-2025Enzo and Roberta are very friendly, spoke good English, which was a great help to us. They were excellent hosts. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. The garden is lovely plenty of shade with a large table for eating al fresco under a large parasol. The swimming pool is lovely and refreshing, water temperature around 25c in mid June, kept very clean by Enzo. Two sun loungers on a grass area by the pool with a parasol above also a nice warm outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the pool. There is gated access to the property and car parking by the apartment. So very secure. We highly recommended this property
Hear the birds singing!
By George on 02-Dec-2023Stunning area, close to beautiful villages and the Maiella National Park with his hermitages. Very easy to go for walks even directly from the house. The apartment is well equipped and very welcoming, with a beautiful garden a swimming pool and a convenient parking space. During the winter the pellet stove works great. The owner is very kind. Finally, you can really hear the birds singing!

The area is quiet and peaceful, just outside the village of Roccamorice. Host Enzo is kind, discreet and always available for every need. Great location. a few minutes drive away there are the celestial heres, the mountain of Blockhaus and several delightful villages. It is also a good starting point for longer trips: within an hour there are e.g. Sulmona, Pescara, the coast of Trabocchi, Pennapiedimonte.

Wonderful stay

The kitchen and living room are well equipped with every comfort. Being a mountain house we appreciated the heating which made our stay comfortable. Comfortable and clean bathroom. The owners, Enzo and Roberta, are very kind and welcoming people. Truly all aimed at making the guest feel welcomed and cared for. "
