Description
The secluded and tranquil location of the property makes the villa the perfect place for peaceful and relaxing holidays: Embedded in a magnificent old olive grove, offering lovely countryside views, just 2 km (5 min drive) from the little village of Karavomylos and its dreamy Natural Lake. Next bigger village is Sami (approx. 2 km from the villa) with all amenities you may need in your holidays: restaurants, cafés, shops, beaches. The spectacular beach of Antisamos is just 15 min drive from the villa.The spacious interior (185m²) is comfortably furnished, fully air-conditioned (bedrooms + living-room!) and equipped to meet the needs of all. There are 3 bedrooms + 3 bathrooms.
The Villa benefits from a luxurious large saltwater-pool (4 x 9 m) and a vast, sunny terrace made of light-coloured natural stone, which creates a harmonic contrast to the olive green of the surroundings. The relaxing sun beds made of wood invite you to relax at the large pool. The dining area, shaded by a pergola is equipped with high-quality wooden furnishings. There is a coal grill plus a wood-burning stove and an outside sink, ideal for preparing the dinner outside in warm evenings. The terrace is surrounded by a carefully decorated garden with old olive trees and well-tended lawn, ideally for children to play.
The olive grove around the property is filled with old beautiful olive trees producing the olives which are used to make the Olive Garden Villa`s delicious, organic extra-virgin olive oil. Guests of the villa are treated to taste the oil and for those interested there are one- litre- bottles for purchase available.
The villa appeals to families and couples looking for peaceful holidays away from it all. Surrounded only by olive groves but within easy reach of taverns, shops and beaches, this villa has everything you need for truly relaxing.

2 bedrooms are on the 1st floor:
1 with double and en-suite bathroom, 1 with twins and en-suite bathroom
both with air-conditioning and balconies with lovely views over the pool, the garden and the surrounding mountains of Sami
1 bedroom is in a lower ground floor with twins, air-conditioning and comfortable seating area.

The outdoor area is what makes it, with a great outdoor kitchen and big pool.Sami itself has plenty of good restaurants serving traditional greek food and you aren't far from antisamos beach which is stunning.The hosts are very friendly and communicative.

Stunning
By Deborah Strettle on 03-Sep-2025This villa is beautiful inside and out. By far the nicest place we have stayed. We also love the area of Sami. Note there are only pebbly beaches on this side of the island, but they are very beautiful. The owners live onsite and look after the villa and grounds very well. They're very friendly and helpful. It is set in olive groves in the quiet countryside just outside Sami/Karavamilos. We found it an easy 15 minute walk along flat roads into Sami where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. You could easily get a taxi if that is too far for you to walk but we enjoyed the evening stroll. The area itself is easier if you have a car to explore. It is well equipped and spacious. We cooked in some nights in the exceptionally well equipped kitchen and there's also an outdoor BBQ area. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and shaded sofa seating area. There were only 3 of us but it would still be spacious for 6. There's plenty of seating, sunbeds and a large outdoor dining table.
Sami is an ideal place to stay
By James C. on 05-Sep-2025Kefalonia is a beautiful island, and Sami is an ideal place to stay with access to attractions locally. The vibe is very relaxed which was great for our family. We enjoyed our stay at the villa, the facilities are all immaculately clean and it is in walking distance of Sami with the best walking route via the Campsite - though if you aren't confident the walk after dark might be off putting. The villa feels secure with covered parking welcome to keep the cars out of the sun.The hosts were great; welcoming and flexible for check in times and easy to contact. The villa itself is lovely, with plenty of space to relax and socialise outside with a good range of seating areas and options. The bedrooms were comfortable, with good quality bedding and good storage. The showers were all great - warm and powerful. We also appreciated the mid week clean to freshen everything up.For our group, the basement room was a bit of an issue - it doesn't come across in the photos but it's actually got 3 beds at opposite ends of a really long space. I think children would like it but for effectively 3 couples it's the short straw. It's the only room without an ensuite too. Both the upstairs rooms are lovely with great views. Most facilities are great - there was plenty of cutlery, cups and plates etc and dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid are provided. There were some missing items like firelighters for the BBQ, and providing a simple soap/shampoo would be appreciated and the AC limit.
Great Villa to Explore the Island
By Marco on 18-Jul-2025Already before we arrived we had very nice and helpful contact with the owner Lida. The arrival and welcome by the two persons handing over the keys was also very warm and great. The villa itself is very spacious and all the equipment we needed was there. Our kids loved the pool and it was used multiple times every day. Even though it was a hot week, we slept normally with open windows that were all protected with mosquito nets. We preferred the fresh breeze over the A/C. All in all a great place to spend your day and also a good starting point to explore all the various beaches. We would definitely chose the place again and can recommend it to anyone else.
An amazing place to stay.
By Robert A. on 21-Aug-2025Olive Garden Villas and Sami it's self is an amazing place to stay.We visited for two weeks with teenage children and had a fantastic time.The villa is very well appointed with a large pool, extensive grounds and views that allows the perception of isolation despite all amenities being reachable by foot in twenty minutes - large selection of restaurants, supermarkets , butchers and bakeries.The walk is mainly on single track roads with light vehicle traffic and is very safe.Danny and Satu are amazing hosts and go above and beyond to assist in anyway they can. Sami is a place with a sense of purpose and conveniently located to explore the island by car or even neighbouring islands by boat.WIth it being a port and home to many locals it is less tourist orrientated compared to other locations and when combined with the villa this truly offers the experience of not just holidaying but living in Kefalonia.
