Inside you’ll find beamed ceilings, good art and sculptures and masses of space. Your generous welcome hamper has local hams, cheeses, Pastel de nata, artisan bread and bottles of wine.
This glorious Portuguese blue painted villa, framed with vines and hibiscus, sits majestically in a prominent position on its own 200-acre private, gated Estate with breath taking views across the olive groves towards the coast in this gloriously unspoiled area of the Eastern Algarve. The house has been lovingly restored - retaining its original shutters, oak doors and terracotta floors, whilst offering the guests good wifi, smart T.V’S and all “mod cons”. The wine-making owner has filled the Manoir with carefully chosen art and sculptures all of which blend harmoniously with the other.
Outside you will find a full-size pool (which can be heated at additional cost during April-May & September - October), lawned gardens and hidden corners where you can snooze with a book. There are 2 BBQ’s – one charcoal and the other gas fired, plus a working pizza oven. Pick a lemon for your gin and tonic! The ping pong table is great for family tournaments! Inside you will find high beamed ceilings, masses of space and fine pieces of furniture. The large dining room will be set for your arrival and you can hire a private chef at a very reasonable rate. Three bedrooms (and two bathrooms) are on the ground floor with three more bedrooms (and three bathrooms) upstairs. Egyptian cotton bedding and pretty Portuguese soft furnishings add to the charm. Lovely, organic toiletries from the Algarve Candle Company add to the luxury. You can buy homemade preserves and oils via our honesty box. Book a yoga class on the newly built Yoga Shala which looks across the olive groves towards the sea, or a holistic massage.. The Manoir is a much loved family home which will wrap you into it’s embrace. You will feel very peaceful here whilst only being a short drive to many sandy beaches… There is an excellent restaurant and bar within walking distance and many numerous pretty market towns to explore.... The housekeeper, Eduarda, couldn't have been more helpful, answering any queries almost immediately. The facilities, and especially the pool, were top class. Terrific all round. Fully recommended.

Le Manoir is a beautiful Manor House

The pool area and yoga space was well used by us all. Linne came to do yoga classes for us. Tips for other travellers. Lots of restaurants in Sao Bras. Great local bar and restaurant nearby run by Paula & Fernando who speak very good English. The beach is only 25 minutes away!

The garden is full of beautiful details and lush plants, the goats add a peaceful charm, and the house managers are some of the kindest people we've met. The whole place has such a calm, grounding energy – perfect to slow down and truly relax. A rare spot that instantly feels like home. Already dreaming of our next visit.
