Newly refurbished - this delightful, three-bedroom, two-bathroom 19th Century Quinta is the perfect rural hideaway and yet within walking distance to a great bar and restaurant. The farmhouse is accessed by a country lane - the fabulous private pool with surrounding terrace is unbeatable and is where you will spend much of your time. The recent addition of a covered decking area overlooking the pool has been a huge success. The spacious interiors are both comfortable and stylish. There is an additional veranda just off the kitchen which is perfect for lazy breakfasts. Children can go completely free range, dashing around the garden, splashing in the good-sized pool or playing badminton on a sandy pitch. Adults seeking quiet can find a calm spot in the house with a book and a comfy chair, all can relax in this unpretentious place with its lemon and lime trees and colourful pots. We can offer yoga or tai chi.....a holistic massage and even a private chef! Let us spoil you. There will be a substantial welcome pack of local produce waiting for you and, if you need anything during your stay, lovely Anna is always on hand.This is the secret heart of the Algarve with villages whose simple charms and whitewashed houses take you back in time.

The villa is super neat, plenty of towels and everything provided, washing powder and tablets in kitchen. BBQ in the garden. Swimming pool is super chill and clean. Games for the kids present and slept wonderfully with fan cool. What a view of the mountains, really a quiet oasis and what a beautiful starry sky. Anna responded quickly to the messages. Check-out was easy. Please note that if you want to do something, you really need a rental car, without a car you will not get anywhere. Beach 30 min, supermarket 10 min and restaurant 5 min. We have always made day trips (beaches villages) of it, just quickly back to the villa is not an option.

By Frederic on 09-Aug-2025The accommodation was very well equipped with all comforts. Eating meals with this beautiful view of the countryside was really relaxing. We were able to do some hiking in the area, many trails. Five of us with 3 children, in other words, the pool was a huge success.

We really enjoyed our stay
By Toby Collins on 15-Jun-2024We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, very well equipped and the house/ grounds very spacious. Particularly nice was the pool and view/ surrounding area. We were left a lovely welcome pack and Anna gave us a warm welcome. She was very easy to get hold off and quick to help with any queries. Thank you - we had a wonderful holiday. Tips for other travellers. The steak place down the road is great. There are loads of lovely beaches (about 30min away) and the local town, Sao Brás has nice cafes/ bars etc. the people were all very friendly and the area has a lovely laid back vibe.
