Description

Ballyhedbe is a beautifully presented 4 bedroom split level villa with a roof terrace, private pool and air-conditioning situated in a secluded area in the hills north of Faro (25 mins away) with gated access. It offers complete privacy and stylish accommodation for up to eight people. It is in a lovely village and you can walk to a local restaurant and cafe. It is a twenty minute drive from the beaches and golf at Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and close by at https://www.ombria.com/en/golf-sports/golf-near-faro/. We also have a great local bike hire company who you can rent bikes from and a great tennis & paddle club 10 minutes away.

Tucked away in a peaceful valley with stunning open country views it is within 7 minutes of the town of Sao Bras de Alportel and 10 minutes to Loule. It is our second home, popular with friends and family and many guests return each year.

The interior of the villa has been tastefully furnished to a contemporary, stylish high standard and contains all the mod-cons to make your stay very comfortable. The villa has just been repainted inside and outside. The villa keeps naturally cool as the sitting room is vaulted. The large kitchen makes entertaining easy and the main bedroom en-suite with jacuzzi bath is on the ground floor. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor and four bathrooms in total. The villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens, extensive terracing and barbeque area, a pergola with electric sunshades, sunbeds, and a large pool, outdoor shower and great roof terrace taking full advantage of the really stunning views. We also provide a range of outdoor games (chess, pingpong, darts, boule, croquet etc.). The venue also works well for small group office get-away trips as there is an office area linked to it’s own sitting area. Maid service is available.

The wood burning stove and heating keep the house warm off season so you might want to take advantage of the mild autumn or spring weather (17-24 C). This is also excellent walking and cycling country with a Jacuzzi bath to come back to.

“We have been staying at Debbie’s villa for several years. The first time was 2017. We love going back there and the villa feels like a second home. I am not usually a person who would go back to the same place twice, but there is something which makes us come back every year. Our kids also love the villa as much as we do. We love the space and the privacy we get. From the villa we can go anywhere we like and there is lots to do in the area.”
