Leave ReviewFantastic villa for relaxing family holiday
By Lucy on 02-Aug-2025Our family of 5 had a wonderful week’s holiday at Villa Mondo. The pool and outside space is fantastic and holds the sun all day with an amazing view of the sunset over the bay and Cagliari. Comfortable loungers and shady spaces make for a very comfortable space. The pool was very clean and a really good size. The villa is well equipped with comfortable beds and 2 x bathrooms, and very usable kitchen as well as good seating and dining space indoors if needed. A friendly welcome from Francesco on arrival and he was on hand for any help needed during our stay. The local restaurant is very friendly and good value - so much so we went 3 x times in our week’s stay! It’s a 15 min walk down hill and similar distance to the local beach which has a great beach bar and beautiful sandy space and blue waters. Also so many good beaches to enjoy a short drive away. We had such a good week and really enjoyed the view and local area. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family holiday
Wonderful
By Amy on 17-Aug-2024We had a wonderful stay in this lovely villa. Views were stunning! Pool just perfect! Villa may be a little dated but this didn’t take anything away from our stay, it had everything we needed & was clean! Francesco was welcoming and great at recommending places to go & eat. Aquarium was our favourite but Pakira was nice too. Shops and beaches close by. Already planning our return visit
Fabulous stay
By Kate on 10-Aug-2024Stayed as a group of two families and the villa was perfect for our needs. Spent hours in the pool - generous size, perfect temperature with shaded sunbed area for much of the day. Sunsets to die for from the terrace. Lovely local area, with a couple of small supermarkets, several restaurants and beach bars - loved the local beach - a walking distance but not in peak summer heat! Kitchen was small but well equipped, beds were comfy, all was very clean.
A great place to stay for rest and relaxation with wonderful beaches a short drive away.
By maria thompson on 01-Jul-2023From the minute we drove up the twisting roads we were blown away by the views of the sea. The first thing we marvelled at on arrival to the villa was the size of the beautiful blue pool. Being so hot; It was instantly inviting. Within minutes all 7 of us were jumping in and We spent hours daily in the pool. we loved the outdoor showers too. The house was exactly as we expected...... clean, spacious, had every utensil you could want. The bedrooms were airy and bright and the outdoor terrace with dining and seated area were used daily. The views down to the sea are fabulous and the sunsets are breath taking. The area is residential so very quiet at night. A dog bark or a passing car is all that may disturb your sleep. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute drive and also a fab pizza restaurant called AQUARIUM close by. We did our own BBQ on 2 evenings and headed down to the local beach bar afterwards. We also spent an amazing day with Angie and Marco at Ocean Blue diving a 10 minute drive away. The beaches in south east Sardinia are magical. visit the Costa Rei and a must stop is Punta Mointas. Its paradise. Francesco the local rep was so helpful and easy to chat to. He was only a text message away.
Great stay in fantastic location
By Jill Ward on 24-Jun-2023We loved our stay at the Villa! It is situated on a hillside with fantastic views to the sea and stunning sunsets. A beautiful beach with soft fine sand and clear seas was only a 15-20 minute walk on the road or slightly shorter if you negotiated the steep steps; a shop, restaurant and two beach bars were also near the beach. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was great. Francesco was very flexible with check in/out and helpful advice on where to eat etc. We would love to return!
A little gem with beautiful views
By Joelle on 29-Jun-2022We stayed in Villa Mondo with a two family group of seven and it was a wonderful stay. The villa and the grounds are lovely, photos don’t do it justice! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the villa was spotless. It’s a short walk from the local shops, restaurant and beautiful beach. The town is quiet but it’s perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. Would recommend a stay!
