Description
Villa Carina is perfect for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Sardinia, with stunning views over the islands of Maddalena. Situated in a lovely private residential area enjoying the luxury of a heated private swimming pool with views over the sea and only a short walk to sheltered beaches which are very safe for children. Many other beaches just a short drive away. You would struggle to find a more beautiful private spot with views across the archipelago and close enough to hear the waves breaking on the shore. The pathway down to the beach is lined with pine trees providing an evocative aroma.The main beach, adjoined to the hotel nearby also has a snack and lounge bar serving just about anything from small snacks to larger meals.
The nearest shops and several restaurants can be found in the little town of Porto Pozzo close by for your essential shopping.
The towns of Santa Teresa and Palau are just a short 10/15 minute drive away in either direction. Here you can find restaurants, bars, shops and the harbours of both towns offer trips around the islands of Maddalena.

- There is a large double bedroom (en-suite), a twin bedded room that can be made to a double, and a third bedroom with bunk beds. The lounge also has two double divans. There is a travel cot available - but please provide own linen. Bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning which are also heaters for those cooler evenings out of season. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and hob. Large lounge/diner, Satellite tv, Wifi, SAFE.

- A large covered terrace/living area with lounge furniture and large table and chairs for al fresco eating from the 3 burner gas barbecue. The roof terrace also has table and chairs for those relaxed evenings taking in the peace and scenery, or sunbathing and relaxing by the private swimming pool. The pool is usually heated in April, May, and from the end of September to the close of the season in October.
There is a washing machine and outside sink under the stairs. Please provide your own beach towels.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The heated pool was a dream—crystal clear, perfectly maintained, and ideal for both morning swims and sunset relaxation. Surrounded by a beautifully landscaped private garden, it felt like our own personal oasis. We enjoyed dining al fresco under the Sardinian sun and relaxing with a glass of wine in the peaceful outdoor spaces. From our daily outings the kids would be in the pool as soon as we returned. The villa itself was immaculate, stylishly furnished, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and luxurious stay, including on-site parking, which made coming and going a breeze. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short drive (or even a walk, depending on your energy!) to several incredible beaches, each with its own charm—turquoise waters, soft white sand, and some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery we’ve ever seen. It’s also close to charming local villages, great restaurants, and scenic spots for day trips. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive, offering great local tips and ensuring everything was perfect throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a serene escape with all the comforts of home, close to nature and the best of Sardinia’s coastline, this villa is an absolute gem. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return!

A perfect summer escape

The location is absolutely stunning, with the beach just a short stroll away and ideal for morning walks or lazy afternoons by the sea. The pool and garden are immaculately maintained, offering a peaceful and private space to relax and recharge. Sardinia Break
By Karl O'Callaghan on 09-Jun-2025Summary as follows: Lovely Villa with stunning views overlooking Conca Verda. Pool was a great size for my son and good temperature. Villa was a reasonable size with excellent showers and air conditioning. You definitely require a car if you are staying at this Villa. Mosquitoes were a real issue during our stay and I would advise future guests to take plenty of protection. Mattresses on the bunk beds were uncomfortable and need replacing. Oven only had 2 hobs working so that needs fixing asap. The location of the Villa is beautiful but the facilities in the local area are rather limited with only 1 snack bar within walking distance. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. Overall, it was a lovely stay but there are areas for improvement as highlighted in my comments

Thank you for your review. Every window and door has mosquito nets and normally it is not so much of a problem in the evenings. The hob is booked for a replacement this summer. Villa Carina is in a quiet residential area I always advise guests that a car is essential. The mattresses on the bunk beds are only a few years old and used by my children. Sorry to read that and will investigate on our next visit.
Stunning views and a really lovely host

It had everything we needed and the communication from Mark the owner was exemplary. His reply time was super quick and the recommendations were spot on.
Lovely villa in perfect location

It also boasts a lovely heated pool, garden area, an outdoor seating and dining area, perfect for during the day and evening bbq meals. The villa is a two min walk from a gorgeous local beach, and a short drive to local shops, restaurants, bars and more beaches. We had a brilliant holiday at the villa and highly recommend staying here!
