Villa Ambar is an oasis of peace and tranquility, perfect for families of 8 adults + 2 children.At a mere five minutes walking, Praia Grande is, as the name suggests, the largest beach on the Sintra coast - a delight for holidaymakers, where you can also find a myriad of restaurants and bars and savour the varied range of seafood and fresh fish on offer while gazing out over the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Built with living under the sun in mind and close enough to the ocean to smell the salt, features a pristine pool that might tempt guests to stay enveloped in the lawn garden.
A fabulous covered terrace, perfect for a barbecue as the sun goes down, invites you to socialize with family and friends in privacy and seclusion, enjoying the fresh breeze and the Mediterranean climate that Portugal offers.
This holiday home is tastefully decorated throughout and has spacious interiors, fully equipped and with all the amenities needed.

Comfortable Villa, walking distance to excellent restaurants and great beach
By jonathan (United Kingdom) on 24-May-2026Positive points: The opening doors of the quasi outdoor area were excellent especially when a bit of wind. Negative points: It would be good to have more outdoor furniture, small tables and bbq equipment.

Location is great-close walk to the beach and a great restaurant, grocery store with 5-7 minutes, easy drive (we had a rental car) to Sintra and Cascais. Every room has at least some view of the ocean. Waking up in the primary room, opening the glass door to the balcony to take in sunrise was amazing. Enjoyed time as a family playing cards and games by the warmth of the fireplace in the outdoor patio area. Beautiful view of the sunset every night. Easy check in and out. Would stay here again!

Our stay was good, the beach was close and grocery shopping only 2-3 kilometer away, with good quality products, fruits, vegetables etc.
