Magoito is a village located on Sintra's coast : Magoito is a small village located on Sintra’s coast and within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. 10km away from Sintra’s historic center (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Sintra’s coast is characterized by a wood vegetation of Mediterranean Stone-pine. The strong patch of these tree canopies, seen from a high point, dazzles by his imposing green close to the blue of the sea.
Its closeness to the capital (Lisbon), to the enchanting Cascais town and near the romantic Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage Site) makes possible an endless activities program. From the inexhaustible historical patrimony, (palaces, castles, museums, etc.), to the fantastic program of artistic and sport events taking place throughout the whole year between Sintra/Cascais/Lisbon, Magoito is without doubt a place of enchantment.
Solar de Magoito: From Solar de Magoito comes in sight, on the horizon, the contour of Sintra’s Mountain with the Pena Palace on top. This palace’s park has a fantastic and exuberant flora with species from the various continents of the globe.
This coast’s beaches are followed by magnificent cliffs of sedimentary rock formations. Magoito is located in the North zone of this littoral, enjoying a dazzling view of all the beaches that extend to Cabo da Roca (Continental Europe’s westernmost point). The Lisbonians, from the beginning of the twentieth century, and most recently the international tourism, elected this region as a holiday destination.
The mild climate, the very rich flora, the fantastic beaches, the regional gastronomy and closeness to the distinct geographical and cultural realities of the Sintra/Cascais/Lisbon - gold triangle - makes this a delightful area for those who visit it.

The reviews mention few groups with a number of people more than we acept now. Before we were working with 2 cottages and one small relaxing pool. They don't work anymore for futures reservations.

We had a great week
By james holt on 20-Aug-2025We had a great week in our family if 14. Life centred around the pool house and pool. The beds/ houses are distributed around the site so you have some privacy but all mert up in the pool area.Manuel was very helpful with ideas on restaurants and trips and sorted out any issues promptly. The tennis court was an added bonus. Close to beaches and whilst the nearest restaurant is a car journey away this was no problem.

En bra umgängesyta med pooler och poolhus där vi åt alla måltider. Jag överraskades med en kock som kom och lagade min födelsedagsmiddag. Fantastisk present från barnen. Bad i havet, vinprovning i närheten och ett otroligt fint väder. Trevlig och hjälpsam värd.
A Perfect Home Base
By Judson McAdams on 25-Jun-2025My husband and I took our adult children and their spouses (a total of 10 of us) to Portugal for a week. Manuel's house was the perfect home base as we traveled out from there to visit towns, beaches and wineries. We would return in the late afternoon each day to the wonderful pool and pool house. In fact, we spent most of our time at the pool house. We cooked on the grills several nights and we had a chef come in two nights. There was plenty of dishes, glassware etc. and refrigerator space for everything. We would definitely return again. Manuel was the perfect host.

Beautiful place!
By Ian Antonoff on 18-May-2025This place was incredible. The host was super nice and communicative, the house was clean and ready for us, and it fit 15 people comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful too; very green and peaceful. I would 1000% recommend this place for families or groups looking for a relaxing weekend in the countryside outside Lisbon or Cascais.
