Villa Anatoli is a beautifully designed and built home set in 1.75 acres of olive groves in the unspoilt part of the island know as Ayios Georgia’s (St. George). It’s location is tranquil and rural but it is only a short drive to Glossa village and the beaches of Perivoliou, Angeletou, Pethameni and Hindros Georgia’s are a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk (35 minutes coming back up the hill!)
The breathtaking view is probably the main feature of the house, however, on a clear day it extends to Mt. Athos in the north and Skyros island in the south, but whatever the weather it is always spectacular.
The house is set up as a home from home. White Company linen and Egyptian cotton fluffy towels are matched with the beach towels which will be waiting for you by the pool. The basics are all provided, as well as our own olive oil.

Villa Anatoli has a fantastic location for a peaceful holiday. Most guests don’t want to leave once they arrive and everyone comments on the views which are truly world class. Just a few minutes drive below the house (145 meters above sea level) is the first of 4 beautiful beaches which are deep coves with sparkling clear blue water.
The unspoiled village of Glossa with its cafes, bars, taverns and shops is just a 10 minute drive away, and as you walk down into this hill village, it is like stepping back in time. The church on the rock Ayios Yiannis (famous from the film Mamma Mia) is just on the other side of Glossa (which is known locally as Loutraki) is a short drive from the village.
Visit the church on the rock made famous in the film Mama Mia which is close to Glossa and the beach they used Kastani is only 20 minutes away.
There are various water sports and boat/bike hire available.


The house itself comprises of a large stone built living room with vaulted chestnut ceiling and is 6 x 7 meters and 4.75 meters high with 3 opening French windows leading onto a canopied terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
It is furnished with a mix of antique and modern pieces.
The kitchen is fitted with an oven, a Bosch stainless steel dishwasher, a large refrigerator/freezer, as well as all the normal appliances.
Both bathrooms are made of polished cement with marble hand-basins and are situated next to the bedrooms, one upstairs and one down. We provide L’occitaine soap for guests use.

Two of the bedrooms also have the spectacular view through double French doors, and king sized wooden beds. There is also a fold out single and a cot if required. The downstairs bedroom has access to the pool along the front of the house and has a large glass and aluminium wardbrobe.
The upstairs bedroom has a vaulted chestnut ceiling, a wooden balcony and also a large roof terrace. The furniture is antique, local and soured from the island.
We have added a third bedroom which would share the downstairs bathroom with bedroom 2. It has its own little courtyard and is available for an additional 15% pw if required. If not we just use for storage space.

We have an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, a gas hob, a fridge and a cold water sink so you can enjoy even more of the outside life of Greece!

The house and front terraces are floored in water-blasted cream marble which is a softer finish than normal marble, but still has the cooling effect. The south terrace beneath the Koukinaria trees (pine-nut) is paved in local Pelion stone. There are a number of terrace areas around the house set in beautiful gardens which are truly stunning. the Villa is very private, set in large grounds (1.7 acres - 7 hectare) with gardens and olive groves, and with no near neighbours, so no one will disturb your privacy.

The infinity pool is located right in front of the Villa (you can walk down the sloping path or there are steps from the living room terrace) and is 40.5 sq meters and is 1.55 meters deep with staircase style steps running down into it and has a large marble terrace around it with 6 wooden sun-beds, umbrellas etc.
The Villa has an Wi-Fi internet connection.

This 176 sqm villa is built in the traditional materials of the island but with a modern take, and has wonderful views over the beaches of Perivoliou, Angeletou, Pethemani and Hondro Girgos and their crystal clear waters.
The rural setting is delightful and the Villa and sits beautiful grounds and gardens are very private. The large 41 sqm infinity pool and the marble terraces give way to an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, terraces for dining and plenty of shady spots to rest.

Arrival at 3pm, and on the day of departure leave at 10am, to allow for cleaning.

Services:
Linen provided, towels provided and cleaning included.
For multi week stays we come in on Fridays to change linen/towels and clean the bathrooms etc.

Most people fly direct to Skiathos which is our near neighbour, and is just 8 Kilometres from the port of Glossa, then it’s a quick trip across on a ferry. Arrival at Skiathos Airport, we offer free Seacab transfer for 4 people, for further people, a charge of €25 per person, and a surcharge after 20.30 is applied. Guest will be met at Glossa port and taken to the Villa.
Alternatively, from Volos then 2-3 hours on a boat, or people fly into Athens and then commute up on an internal flight that takes 20 minutes. (Bus/boat also available).
Thessaloniki has a direct ferry to Skopelos which takes 3.40 minutes. For people arriving from Skiathos Airport we provide 4 free tickets on the arrival date on www.seacab.gr (weather permitting) extra tickets at €25 per person. we also advise on ferry transfers and arrange a hire car for you, meet you at the port and take you to the Villa so your arrival is stress free.
Car essential, off road parking.
We have an arrangement with an excellent local car hire company, Magic Cars, who will meet you at the port, with whichever car you choose, and when you leave, just leave the car back at the port. We try to make your arrival as smooth as possible, so you can begin your time in this little piece of paradise as quickly as possible. We hope that you will love this exceptional part of Skopelos island as much as we all do.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking, then the balance will be paid 6 weeks before arrival. The Villa is priced for 2 bedroom occupancy, with the third available for 15% extra. If not required it is closed and used for storage. You can book any amount of days, 7 is the minimum, arrival dates are flexible, and payment can be made in pounds or euros.
