Description
This is a beautiful, modern and bright two-bedroom apartment, which has recently been fully refurbished, located in the centre of Vico Equense. It is 115 metres squared and can comfortably sleep up to six people (two on sofa beds). It features three private balconies, two of which have stunning views of the sea and of the coastline. The apartment also has air conditioning and WIFI internet access. You will have the exclusive use of the apartment, and it will not be shared with other guests.From the apartment, you will enjoy a wonderful panorama of the sea and the coastline including Mount Vesuvius and Vico Equense’s historic castle. The apartment is centrally located; you are only 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Vico Equense, where you will find restaurants, shops, bars and pizzerias. Here you will also find the bus station and train station, where you can catch the train to Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento. The beach is only approximately 5 minutes’ walk away. It is the perfect location for families or a group of friends looking for a mix of a beach and sight-seeing holiday.
The apartment is located on the second floor of an apartment building and is accessible through the main gate and then by walking up fifty steps. Once on the second floor, as you enter the front door, there is an internal landing area with a view of Vesuvius and Vico Equense’s historic castle made out of wonderful Vietri Majolia tiles. Off the internal landing are the doors which lead to the private apartment.
From the internal landing, on your left, you can access the corridor where there is a fully equipped bathroom with a wonderful large shower, sink, toilet, bidet and heated towel rail. Further along the corridor, there is an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, four induction hobs, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen utensils. Also, there is a French sized sofa bed (suitable for one adult or two small children) a TV and a dining table and chairs for four guests. There are two windows which make the room bright and airy. The room features beautiful Vietri Majolia tiles. Off the corridor, there is a double bedroom with a large king-size bed (200cm long and 180cm wide), a wardrobe, a dressing table with a mirror, a TV and two armchairs and a table. There is also a double door which opens out onto a private balcony boasting breath-taking views. The balcony has a small table and two chairs. All the rooms have an air conditioning/heating unit.
From the internal landing area, you can access the open plan kitchen/lounge/diner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, four induction hobs, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen utensils. There is also a dining table which can seat six guests and a TV. Here you also find access to a long terrace which faces the city centre. There is also a window making it bright and airy. In the open plan lounge, there is a French sized sofa bed (suitable for one adult or two small children). The room also boasts Vietri Majolia tiles. To the left of the kitchen, there is a short corridor where you can access the bathroom with a sink, large shower, toilet, bidet and heated towel rail. From the corridor you will find a bedroom with a large double bed (200cm long and 180cm wide), wardrobe, a TV and dressing table with a mirror. There are also double doors for direct access onto the beautiful private panoramic balcony. All the rooms have an air conditioning/heating unit.
Due to its central location, you will not need a car to stay here but, if you have one, you can park it in a car park, free of charge, approximately 100 metres away, on request.

From check in to check out, and even before and after the trip, Alfonso was always available to answer any questions we had and make suggestions. The accommodation itself was nothing short of wonderful - we stayed for 6 nights and it provided us with the comforts needed to feel at home. Vico Esquense, and this apartment in particular, is a great base for anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast - quick train rides to Sorrento and Naples and you can reach Positano and Amalfi by taxi or Vespa - always fun! The owners of the house, Cinzia and Carlos, are also wonderful people. Alfonso manages for them, but they are always there and gave us a sense of community and family during our stay. I can't say enough about how well this apartment worked for us, and a big shout out to Alfonso, Cinzia and Carlos - we would highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back soon! Alfonso, you were amazing. There is nothing we haven't already said.

By Carlene on 05-May-2023The apartment had an unforgettable view from the terrace which we took advantage of. You could see the sea, boats, and the surrounding area. We loved that the beach was only a five-minute walk. The water was beautiful! The apartment had all of the amenities that we needed, and we loved the quiet location that also had restaurants close by. It was charming. What was also very charming about the apartment was Cinzia and Carlo who were right next door. They were extremely nice and helpful to us and really made us feel at home. This makes us want to come back and stay in Vico again. Alfonso was a great host. We missed our connection in Rome and he was very helpful in providing us with options and waiting for us. As it was raining in Vico, on the day of our arrival, Alfonso very thoughtfully met us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. We really appreciated this after our long trip. Casa Cinza felt like coming home to a slice of paradise

Nestled on a cliffside, this enchanting villa provided a haven of tranquility with breathtaking sea views. We were warmly welcomed by Alfonso and Cinza the gracious hosts who ensured our comfort throughout the stay. The private terrace overlooking the azure waters, making every sunrise and sunset a spectacle. Exploring the nearby towns of Sorrento and Positano was a breeze, thanks to the villa''''s strategic location. Casa Cinza truly captured our hearts. We can''''t wait to return. Grazie! Julie
