A Little Bit About Spartilas
The village of Spartilas is a small village en route to Corfu's mountain Pantokrator (1000 metres) with a population of 600, surrounded with olive groves in every direction, with some of the most amazing views across the bay to Albania and northern Greece and clearly Corfu Town and the marina of Gouvia.
The houses are traditionally stone built some renovated and some lie in ruins amongst a mass of small donkey alley ways and winding paths. Spartilas is 25 Kms from the airport and 10 minutes from the village of Ipsos with its full compliment of shops, bars, cafes and tavernas, and has easy access to Corfu Town and all the beaches and tavernas of the popular North East coast.
