Description
Villa Petalutha is located on the outskirts of the traditional mountain village of Spartilas. (MHTE: 0829K91000382801)Nestling beneath the imposing Mount Pantokrator, it offers privacy and seclusion, yet is only 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes scenic walk to the village. The popular resort of Barbati, with beautifully clear water and safe swimming, is 15 minutes drive away.
The airport and cosmopolitan Corfu town, a world heritage site, are 40 minutes drive. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty; a peaceful haven for wildlife, including eagles, lizards and butterflies, from which the villa takes its name.
Set in its own olive grove and blending superbly with its surroundings, this luxurious villa is built to a high specification. It's unique split level design was inspired by the natural terraces of the hillside and maximises the breathtaking 180 degree views of the beautiful east coast bays, Corfu town, the spectacular mountains of central Corfu and the glorious sunsets of the west coast.
Villa Petalutha was featured in the May 2015 edition of Woman and Home magazine as one of their favourite villas.
Inside the villa, you will find natural stone floors and a beautiful stone archway dividing the living space. There is a log burner set within a traditional greek fireplace and a solid oak dining table with leather chairs. The contemporary kitchen, with it's black granite and stone island, is extremely well equipped and benefits from quality appliances.
A marble staircase leads down to the four good sized bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms all have good sized, comfortable beds with deep mattresses. Bed and bath linen is all of high quality. There is a generous amount of storage in built- in wardrobes.
Leading from the beautiful open plan living area are a range of stone terraces all equipped with comfortable seating and dining areas. There is a large brick BBQ for al fresco meals. Steps lead down to the pool area which is equipped with sun beds, coffee tables and parasol.
At the far end of the pool lies our terraced olive grove and a spectacular wooden viewing platform. A hammock is set between the trees: a perfect spot for a quiet afternoon siesta.
The villa has a large gravel forecourt for at least four cars.

Blissful Holiday
By Stuart on 23-Jun-2025Our family visit to Corfu was totally enhanced by staying at the amazing Villa Petalutha. It must be one of the best views on the island , a mesmerising vista and with beautifully cared for gardens. We are a family of 6 and there was ample space for us to spread out and lay in the hammocks or swim . The high speed starlink really was helpful for those work " emergencies " as well. The drive up to the house is windy but you get used to that and feel the benefit when you are sitting on the patio looking all the way to the other islands. Our favourite days ( other than those at the Villa) were spent boating on both coasts. We were lucky enough to catch a last minute cancellation but if you are looking at this then don't hesitate to book I doubt there are many villas of this quality.

Heavenly holiday

Communication was excellent from the outset- advice, helpful hints and good, clear instructions on what we needed to know were provided. We arrived to a beautifully kept, spacious home for the week, ideally laid out with multiple, perfectly placed, seating areas to suit all requirements. The very best of the setting has been incorporated in the design of this property, making the most of exquisite views, sunsets and peace. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with the luxury of ensuites for all rooms. The kitchen is faultlessly equipped for all requirements. There was ample space for our group of 9. The infinity pool is large, clean and looks stunning lit up at night. The BBQ evening meals were a favourite. Every provision and facility has been considered, even a hammock in the shade of the olive grove for a siesta! The cleaners and house keeper are dedicated and delightful, bringing additional clean bedding and fresh fluffy towels mid week. They will help with any of your needs and clearly care about the job they do. I wish we could have stayed longer, none of us were ready to come home! Nowhere else will ever compare....thank you x

Incredible villa
By Jamie on 18-Aug-2023This really is an amazing Villa. It has incredible views with lots of great spots to enjoy them from. Being so high up also means there is a bit of a breeze to keep the temp down and there were noticeably less wasps than by the coast. The Villa itself is well-maintained, has a nice homely feel and the owners have gone above and beyond with all the info to ensure guests have the perfect stay. I speak highly enough of this place!
