A very loverly retreat and a lovely owner
By Sarah on 17-Jun-2023I stayed in Pitharia Villas with my partner in June 2023. Evangelos was a delight to deal with and did everything he could to make our stay memorable. Everything we needed was provided in this lovely villa. From an iron, ironing board, hairdryer (with diffuser!) to coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, drinks and light snacks on our arrival. The Villa is light and airy, with exposed stonework, high vaulted ceilings and has stunning views over the neighbouring houses and surrounding countryside to the sea. The furniture in the living and outside areas is comfortable and stylish and a clever outside table on wheels can easily be moved to be used either in the shade under the pretty awning or overlooking the view - perfect for dinner in the evening. The infinity pool is the perfect size for swimming or just wallowing and enjoying the view. Bug screens are fitted to every window and door so they can be left open to maintain the light airy feel if the villas day and night. The kitchen and laundry were fully equipped and dishwasher and laundry tablets provided for guests. Tzamarelata is a beautiful little authentic village about 15 minutes drive from the port of Fiskado. Magganos is the nearest inland village about 15 minute walk from the villa. There are a selection of shops selling everything you might need and several bars and tavernas to choose from. Jerusalem beach is a 10 minute drive and the fantastic Alati Restaurant about the same distance where you can enjoy delicious food, their own excellent wine looking over the rocks, tiny beach and the sea. I highly recommend Pitharia Villa and hope very much to stay there again very soon.
