Description
Casa Paragon is a modern family-friendly detached villa with private pool, located on the popular 5 star golf resort of Vila Sol in the Central Algarve.Within a short walk of the villa there's a choice of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Other good restaurants, shops and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive of the villa.
The location is perfect, being only 25 minutes from Faro airport. The villa itself is in a cul de sac location so there is no through traffic.
The Aquashow water park is approximately 5 minutes away by car. Vilamoura marina with its luxury yachts has a choice of waterside bars and restaurants in which to enjoy a drink or a meal and is within a 10 minute drive.
Beautiful sandy beaches with beachside restaurants and bars are nearby, the closest being Quarteira and Vilamoura. Boat trips and watersports are available from Vilamoura marina.
The Vila Sol 27-hole (3 x 9) championship course with its clubhouse is within walking distance of the villa. More golf courses can be found at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo as well as tennis and horse riding in Vilamoura.
The villa is set in its own private tranquil south-facing garden with ample relaxation areas and private off-street gated parking. The entire villa is single level – with step free access to the terrace and garden areas.
Accommodation
The villa has free fast, unlimited fibre optic wi-fi internet and benefits from air conditioning with mosquito nets to all windows.
Living areas
The modern kitchen has a large central island with breakfast stools and is well equipped with appliances including an induction hob, oven, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer and kettle. A sterilizer and blender are available for baby meals (highchair on request). A separate utility room houses the washing machine, drier, iron & ironing board and a second fridge-freezer.
The air conditioned spacious lounge and dining area features a large wooden dining table with seating for eight, a comfortable L shaped sofa, a wall-mounted flat screen TV with UK TV channels - BBC, ITV, Sky sports and TNT/BT sports, (bring your log-in details for Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify etc.) as well as a DVD/Blu-ray player, Bluetooth speaker, DVDs, board games and plenty of books to read. Four sets of patio doors from this room open out onto the covered terrace and pool area.
Bedrooms and bathroom
All bedrooms have split air conditioning
The master suite features a superking bed, fitted wardrobes, and an en-suite shower room. This room can sleep an additional baby or young child in a travel cot or fold-up bed on request. Sliding patio doors lead directly to the terrace and pool area.
Bedroom two has twin beds which can be made up as a superking on request, fitted wardrobes, and sliding patio doors to terrace and pool area.
Bedroom three has twin beds which can be made up as a superking on request, fitted wardrobes, and sliding patio doors to terrace and garden.
Bedrooms two and three share the adjacent full family bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub.
Outside the villa
The villa has a large lawned garden with mature trees and flowering shrubs. Night-time lighting is provided for the pool, garden, outdoor kitchen and terraces, enabling these areas to be enjoyed long after the sun has set.
The large, covered, south-facing terrace overlooks the pool and has ample seating with sofas, armchairs and a coffee table. Meals can be prepared al-fresco in the outdoor kitchen (with its sink and gas BBQ), and enjoyed around the large outdoor dining table which has ample shade from the Algarve sun. There is an additional dining table located on the side terrace, together with a table tennis table.
The large private pool measures 10m by 5m with roman steps. The pool can be heated in the cooler months for a weekly supplement of €350. It has an electric pool cover to retain the heat at night. An outdoor pool shower, pool towels and a separate wc are available for guest use.
We provide sun loungers (eight in total), a hammock and large outdoor parasol on the lawn beside the pool.
A professional management company is on hand to provide 24/7 emergency support if required.
Hairdryers and a safe for your valuables/laptop are provided for your convenience.
Our rates include housekeeping during your stay.

5 stars – A perfect family getaway

After our original booking was unexpectedly cancelled, we were incredibly lucky to find this place available—and honestly, we’re so glad it worked out that way. This villa was a real gem and exceeded all our expectations. The garden is beautifully kept and a lovely place to unwind. The pool was fantastic—clean, spacious, and ideal for both adults and kids. The villa itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. We had a car with us, but even without one, getting around is easy—Ubers are very affordable and made trips into beautiful Vilamoura quick and hassle-free. There’s also a great little café and a fantastic Italian restaurant right on site, which made dining simple and enjoyable. This place truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already planning to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a well-equipped base in the Algarve.

Fantastic family holiday
By Stella Allfrey on 18-May-2025A superb time spent at Casa Paragon. We were a family of eight, the Villa catered for our every need and surpassed all our holiday expectations. The pool was just at the right temperature for our grandson (who mastered the skill of swimming during his stay) and fifteen month old granddaughter. The location was ideal for access to local amenities and several beaches nearby. The beautiful marina at Vilamour, just being minutes away, where water sport activities were available to suit a range of nautical adventures. We took the boat to Benagil cave, would thoroughly recommend this trip. The weather during our stay enabled us to eat outside all the time, having usually cooked our meal on the barbeque all added to the exceptional holiday experience. Described in the welcome guide as "a piece of paradise," all the family would agree with this description and were very grateful to have enjoyed such a wonderful holiday at the villa. Our grand son described it as his best holiday ever. We would recommend staying at the villa Casa Paragon and hope at some point in the future we will also return to a "piece of paradise."

Barbara and Tim provide everything you need to make the stay easy and comfortable and were on hand to resolve any questions we had. Would thoroughly recommend the villa, the hosts and of course the Algarve.

Fabulous villa
By Jo Hudson on 01-May-2024We stayed at the villa in May 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We found the inside of the villa to be modern and well appointed, with huge beds, well stocked kitchen and large tv (sky sports and BT sports are included). The pool is a great size whilst the gardens are quiet, well maintained and not overlooked. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating on the terrace, which includes a selection of rattan sofas and armchairs plus a large dining table. We spent our week exploring the local towns and coastline, all of which is easily accessible by car. We would recommend the old towns of Faro and Loulé, and there are lots of nice cafés and restaurants either on Vila Sol itself (which you can walk to) or in nearby towns such as Almancil. We look forward to returning to the villa next year!
