Description
A car will not be necessary when you book your holiday in this fabulous villa. Less than a five minute walk to the popular Old Village complex, the Old Village is a little community in its own right with restaurants and bars, supermarket, bakery and children's play area. Wander around the pretty cobbled streets and then enjoy a cool drink at one of the open air cafes. During the Summer there is a regular tourist train that you can take from the Old Village to the various parts of Central Vilamoura. The beach and Marina are a 20 minute walk. The villa itself is fully furnished and equipped. The air conditioned lounge with seating for 7 has a DVD player and internet TV providing English language channels. Step straight out of the lounge on to the villa's pool terrace furnished with sun loungers, table and chairs - the perfect place for a relaxing al-fresco meal beside your own pool! To the front and side of the house are mature, enclosed private gardens, whilst all bedrooms are en-suite. The villa also has a sun terrace outside first floor bedrooms and a patio at the top of the house with a bar and views over the golf course.Vilamoura Marina is the place to be seen - with multi million euro yachts and restaurant and bar terraces over the water. The beach has a shop, facilities and lunch eateries right at the back of the sand as well as sun beds for hire.

Maid service - for stays of longer than 7 days linen and towels will be replaced and a mini clean will occur mid stay at your discretion. Additional maid service is available at extra cost.
Activities and Interests
Coast / Beach - Miles of sandy beaches can be found in the Algarve. Just twenty minutes stroll or a 5 euro taxi takes you to the beaches of Vilamoura and the vast beach at Falesia. Organised sun loungers or freestyle towel and parasol areas are available, along with beach cafes and shops.
Airport and Travel - Faro airport is just under half an hour by car. A car is not essential, Old Village bars and restaurants are close at hand and the marina is a 20 minute walk. Bookings firms within the Old Village can arrange transport and tickets to local attractions. Villa Chelsea is a 5 minute drive from the Aquashow water park and 30 minutes from ZooMarine, with dolphin shows, raft rides etc. At Vilamoura Marina there is plenty to do, dolphin watching trips, parasailing, powerboating, deep sea fishing and sunset cruises can be booked.
Security Deposit: Villa Chelsea is a £1m euro villa - we hope you understand that our lettings agents collect a euros or GBP 500 cash security deposit on check it, which is returned at checkout, providing there has been no damage to the villa or its contents - thank you for your understanding.
Municipal Tourist Tax: Vilamoura charges a Municipal City Tax, which is in addition to our advertised price, is payable to the local authority and is collected at check-in. This applies to all guests over 16, for a maximum of 5 nights per person. From 1st April to 31st October the tax is 2 euros per person per night. From 1st November to 31st March it is 1 euro per person per night.

Short walk to shops / cafes / restaurants. Check in and out process very straightforward. We will definitely be back.

Extremely spacious Villa
By Suzy Place on 26-Jul-2025This was our second visit herein this Villa , it’s a lovely with so much space, that it’s impossible to feel on top of each other! All the bedrooms have an en-suite bathrooms that have been very recently modernised to a high standard. The kitchen has also been renovated this year, again to a very high standard! The old village is the most amazing place you could wish to visit, it’s so pretty that we instantly fell in love with it, with some lovely bars and places to eat, so much so that our daughter would like to get married there one day. The local spar is just over a 5 minute walk. We also got the train that drives around the village to the crazy golf course in Vilamoura. The Marina is absolutely stunning too!

Just Wow
By Jacquie on 22-May-2025From the moment we entered Villa Chelsea we all fell in love with this immaculate villa. My teens explored every inch - counted every step and every chair! There are so many parts to this villa that accommodates all of your needs - whether you like sun, shade, a bar by the pool, a rooftop seating area - in which you can even see the ocean in the distance... The bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable and the ensuites plus the extra bathroom on the ground floor proved useful for us. We loved the 4 min walk down to the village - which has the most beautiful flowers, restaurants, pools, shop, ATMs, bars...our favourite restaurant was Casa Do Largo. We ate here twice and the meals were delicious and quite good value. We walked down to the harbour and beach twice - this was about 30 mins walk for us, but was very pleasant as we explored more of Vilamoura as we walked. The marina is just perfect. It has something for everyone and our favourite restaurant here was a pizzeria called Nosolo Italia...It was a little more pricey by the marina but the views are exclusive! The beach was also lovely - we only managed Vilamoura beach as Falesia was a little more walk round the harbour but still this was a great beach and you can hire sunbeds / restaurant and toilets all right there for your perfect day out. We arranged an airport transfer through Clever Details, in which we had a driver called Vitor. This driver made our holiday! The service he provided was exceptional. We ended up taking his contact card and tried to book him for every trip we made in which he was able to accommodate us most of the time. Other times we took ubers, which were very easy too. We visited Zoomarine and Aquashow water park, Albufeira old town - in which we took a boat ride into Benagil Caves with Dream Wave boat tours (this goes from Albufeira marina) this company were also amazing. In Zoomarine, my teens and I got to swim with dolphins, a magical experience I will never forget. So to summarise from the ease of the booking process - immense information about the place - thanks Eddie for all of your help - Clever Details who helped us with some little problems along the way - Vitor the driver, we wanted to say thankyou for the most perfect stay we could ever imagine. If I was to return to Algarve, I will definitely consider this villa again. :)

Lovely Villa Chelsea
By Kelly on 01-Aug-2023The Villa is in a perfect location, just 20 minutes stroll to the Marina and only a 5 minute walk from the local shop, restaurant and bars. The villa itself is clean, spacious and has everything you could need on a Villa holiday. The pool and outdoor area are lovely, offering both shade and sun, with plenty of sun loungers available. Having a private pool was a massive hit with the kids!! Both the owner Eddie and everyone at Simply Owners were superb all the way from booking to completion. The information pack provided by Eddie was very informative but also had that personal touch. We cannot recommend Villa Chelsea enough, it was perfect for our family holiday, so much so that we have already booked again for next year!!!
