Nestled on a hillside on the western side of Kefalonia, you may not have heard of Zola, but it is truly a hidden treasure of our beautiful island. Popular locations including Assos, Agia Efimia, Myrtos Beach, Fiskardo, Lixouri, and the island's capital, Argostoli, are all within a short drive.
There are three tavernas, beach bars and a snack cafe nearby. The local beaches Agia Kiriaki and Vouti offer sunbeds and tavernas with beautiful turquoise water. Motor boat rentals, or a water taxi from Zola harbour provide access to stunning hidden beaches. Paddle boards and other water based activities are usually available locally in the summer months.
All of the rooms in Villa Hestia have breathtaking panoramic sea views. Situated in an elevated position with fantastic views out over Zola bay, Villa Hestia was built as a homely retreat in a truly beautiful location. The villa comfortably sleeps 6 people and has three large bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.
The secluded garden has a long vine-covered terrace furnished with wooden table and comfortable chairs. The extensive patio around the lovely swimming pool has luxury sun loungers, parasols and a barbecue area - perfect for al fresco dining or just enjoying the sunshine. There is also a shaded veranda and large balcony with amazing views towards Assos and Myrtos Bay.
The living/family room has two comfortable sofas and an armchair, with TV, DVD player (plus a wide variety of films), CD/MP3 player, and a selection of board games - if you can tear yourself away from the pool! We have also provided a beautiful digital piano for the use of our musical guests. There is unlimited WiFi available at the villa.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, hob, fan oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and large fridge/freezer.
The main windows and French doors, through which you enter the large covered pool terrace, are all fitted with mosquito blinds. There is a light and spacious twin bedroom downstairs with glass doors leading out on to the terrace. This bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The twin beds may be fitted together to form a double if required.
On the first floor, there are a further two bedrooms. One is a twin bedroom similar to the ground floor bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom and a large walk-in shower. The spacious master bedroom suite has a king-size bed and a large ensuite bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms have access out onto the balcony.
