3 Bedrooms (Sleeps 8) 2 bathrooms. Panoramic countryside views to the seaLuxury villa built from Istrian stone and reclaimed oak beams and terracotta tiles. Private heated pool (8 x 4m) with Roman steps, lined with mosaic tiles and having a waterfall feature wall. Clear plastic safety cover operated electronically. Peaceful location at the edge of the hamlet, with panoramic views to the sea. Landscaped gardens with tile-capped stone walls all round and wrought iron gates to parking for 2 cars. Tastefully furnished to the highest standard, including American side by side fridge/freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser and canvas pictures of local flora and fauna. Wireless internet and smart flat screen TV. Stereo with USB slot and Amazon Echo Dot for streaming your music. Air conditioning in each of the bedrooms and fan(s) provided in the living room. Double glazed windows and doors with traditional external wood shutters with outside access from each bedroom, central heating throughout and traditional Istrian open fireplace giving our villa a welcoming rustic charm.
The villa is enclosed within stone walls and is therefore safe for families with young children. Having found the pool to be the focus of the holiday, we recently replaced the original liner pool with a beautiful tiled pool. To extend the swimming season we added heating, which is rare in Istria but extremely useful, even at the height of the season if you favour a morning swim. Most importantly, having young children ourselves, we were concerned about pool safety and had a Roldeck safety cover installed. Being clear plastic, it retains the beauty of the pool and allows you to appreciate the lighting in the evening. It is fully automatic - just a press of a switch in the villa. It has already proved its worth, our young nephew having fallen but kept safe from the water. The large steps to the pool allow room for paddling or just relaxing! We also love eating outside and have added a stone-built barbecue and shaded dining area for fantastic al fresco dining with the most stunning sunsets.

Beautiful Villa With Stunning Pool
By IAN MORRISH on 20-Oct-2025Mt family and I had a wonderful week in Mofardini. The villa was extremely comfortable and the outdoor pool and Bar BQ area was perfect. October brought a storm or two and some stunning lightning but this didn't detract from a wonderful week. Located in the heart of Istria and accessible to the more touristy hot spots. However, 'go local'...!! The local restaurants and distilleries were charming and the welcomes we received were heartfelt and memorable. The Old School Distillery and Tomazova Konoba Restaurant being highlights. We highly recommend this owner and their property, and hope to return again in the future.
Wonderful and relaxing holiday experience
By E. Fischer on 22-Aug-2022We, an extended family with 4 children in total, stayed there in August/September 2022 and had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. The pool and the house were generally in good condition and well maintained. We notified a few minor issues to Simon and Hanh, who responded straight away. The pool was fantastic for everyone, we used it especially in the mornings and evenings before and after our trips to the sea, the cave, the coastal towns etc. The pool cover was very helpful to keep the youngest ones (2 and 3 years old) out of harm´s way when the pool was not in use. The area is quiet and peaceful, ideal for walks. There is a little playground in the village. All in all, a very pleasant and calm stay, just what we needed for us and the kids!

By Kathleen M on 21-Aug-2020Als erstes möchte ich die schnelle und einfache Kommunikation hervorheben. Wir haben stets und schnell unsere Fragen beantwortet bekommen. In dem Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden was macht braucht. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig und man kann herrlich entspannen. Der beheizte Pool kam bei allen Familienmitgliedern gut an. Komfort und Ruhe
By Alexander S on 22-Jun-2020Die schöne Villa liegt ruhig in der Nähe von Porec. Es ist viel Platz vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Eigentümer ist vorbildlich. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf´s Meer und kann im beheizten und beleuchteten Pool die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge genießen. 6/22/2020 at 11:12 AM
