Alenya vacation rental : The house.
Your rental is a brand new villa located in Alenya between St Cyprien and Canet beaches, in a very quiet village area.
The house includes a large living room of 51 m2 and a fully equipped open kitchen. 2 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is larger with a 160x200cm double bed with an adjacent smaller (curtained off) room with bunk beds for 2. Bedroom 2 has a 160x200cm double bed plus a sofabed for 2 more. There is one bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower and WC.
Outside you'll enjoy your private garden with pergola, game area, dining furniture, 3 sun loungers and 2 sunbeds, a pool (heatable in shoulder seasons!) of 3x6m (1m70 deep) and and deck area.
You can enjoy the high speed WIFI internet available to you, as well as washing machine and dryer and many other amenities. There are 2 parking spaces. Children and adults alike will be able to enjoy this beautiful location, and their dogs who are welcome too. And sheets, towels and tea towels are provided!
Alenya Vacation Rental : The village.
Alénya is located in the plain of Roussillon near the Mediterranean sea, between two rivers flowing into the pond of Canet-Saint-Nazaire nearby - where you can see wild birds including flamingos!
Only 3 km from the sandy beaches of Saint-Cyprien and 10 minutes from Perpignan, near Collioure, Banyuls-sur-Mer and Spain, the town is quiet, surrounded by farmland (vineyards, fields apricot, market gardening, etc.).
Strong of its geographical position, Alénya offers many assets. However, neither city dormitory nor tourist spot, Alénya and its 3500 inhabitants prefer to cultivate the art of living in Catalan country, combining respect for tradition and modernity.

At only 10 minutes to the Perpignan airport, arrange for transport to this lovely home and leave your car behind!
Your Alenya holiday rental is just minutes to famous, charming Collioure, Ceret, and even just 30 minutes to Spain’s excellent La Jonquera and Le Perthus outlet shopping and good value buffet dining at the border. The region is famous for artists such as Matisse, Derain, Dufy, and Picasso who found inspiration in the beauty of these picturesque villages along the Vermillion and is reflected everywhere, from Collioure – drawing artists still today – to Ceret, home of the famous modern art museum. Nearby Perpignan has shopping, nightlife and history on a grand scale (from the 13th century, its « Palace of the Kings of Majorca » is the oldest royal dwelling in France), and is a magnificent city just 20 minutes away. Your rental is set near churches, castles, Cathar ruins, medieval fortresses, and intriguing prehistoric sites. Enjoy wineries, nature reserves, golf, biking, hiking, horseback riding, Sigean wild animal park, family parks, and Marina and water sports (sailing, skiing, diving, fishing, windsurfing). You are less than 2 hours drive to the ski slopes of the majestic Pyrénées Mountains, Carcassonne, Montpellier or Barcelona.

Alenya Vacation Rental : Getting around.
Your Alenya holiday rental is located in heart of village 1 min walk to shops, market, restaurants and cafes. You are 10 min drive to beach. Local buses are clean and comfy and cost just 1 euro to go to any village in the area! Train station (in Perpignan or Elne ) can take you to Paris, Barcelona… If you arrange in advance, we can also provide transport to/from airport and other attractions at a reasonable price. Flights into Perpignan, Carcassonne or Beziers, France or even Girona or Barcelona Spain get are closest.
Alenya Vacation Rental : Other things to note.
– Children’s supplies available upon request.
– Note, premises must be left in tidy state before departure. Also, 600 euros check down payment/deposit due to hold your reservation. OR if paid online completely then a 300 euros damage deposit is due on arrival, cash or French check. The latter being refunded at departure assuming no excessive mess or broken/damaged items/property. A deep cleaning on departure is included in the price but we expect you to leave the premises tidy as found.
– For short stays and off-season bookings, some properties require an extra fee for utilities or even a minimum per-stay price – please inquire. Long stays also are priced accordingly, so please inquire for these as well.
– A local English/French/Spanish speaking guide and help is available upon request, including babysitting, site seeing options, private driver, tennis instructor…
