A perfect place to chill but with everything on your doorstep
By Rea on 06-Sep-2025I spent an amazing week at this house with friends. It offered space, comfortable beds, gorgeous views and all close to villages with scrumptious food and wine. Beautiful classic French villages and a fun adventure on a canoe down the river among some of the options. This offered the perfect mix of relaxation or adventure. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank You
A rustic French retreat set in a quiet rural setting with amenities close by.
By Coleman Family on 30-Aug-2025The property is spacious & well arranged for a multi generation holiday, the facilities are excellent with everything you would need. The property is set in a rural quiet setting with a clean, well maintained pool & grounds. We enjoyed many trips out to the neighbouring villages & towns, & have fun Kayaking which is available close by.
Fantastic Peaceful Week Away
By Nim B on 24-Aug-2025This is our 2nd stay in this beautiful property. It is so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodlands. There is everything in the house that you could ever need for your stay, down to the smallest detail. It was also very clean and pool and gardens were very well maintained. There are plenty of little villages and towns close by, but you will need a car for getting around. However, once we had done our grocery shopping and got plenty of wine in, we were quite happy just chilling by the pool, reading and sunbathing with a glass of wine or two. I look forward to staying here again and have no problem recommending this beautiful property.
Multi-Family retreat
By Nigel Smith on 01-May-2025My sister and her husband and kids along with my wife and kids shared the house. It is a perfect layout for two families. Each adult couple has primary sweets at opposite ends of the sprawling house. All the kids have rooms upstairs, also removed enough from the common spaces that they could be as loud for as long as they wanted and not bother us. In the evenings we all gathered in the massive lounge space for games and fun. The grounds are spacious and private, not a neighbor in sight or sound. I highly recommend this place for a multiple family or multiple couples getaway.
Fabulous retreat in the beautiful Dordogne
By Gilly Kempton on 30-Jul-2025Tinteillac is an absolute gem and we feel very fortunate to have discovered it. Tinteillac proved to be the perfect place for our extended family to stay with plenty of space for us all - from toddlers to retired grandparents. The house is very well set up for families with its large kitchen huge farmhouse table for us all to eat and chill with everything we could possibly need. The huge lounge is a great place to relax, although we spent most of our time outside, by the pool, playing very competitive games of pétanque or sipping our evening wine as we enjoyed the views and sunset. Tinteillac offered us plenty of really good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, especially handy with teenagers! It had everything we needed. The house is located conveniently to allow lots of exploring of the beautiful towns and countryside and the village of La Tour Blanche, for provisions and dining, is within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed Tinteillac immensely and would most certainly love to revisit one day!
Wonderful place, perfect location
By Roula Patrinos on 07-Apr-2026This is my third stay at Tinteillac. It is a wonderful, spacious property, beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Peaceful and a perfect location to explore the Dordogne and surrounding areas. Some lovely market towns, adventure parks for the kids, walks, cycle, canoeing and more. It was perfect for our large extended family. Thank you so much Madalena for making our visits so easy. Super host.
