We had a great time in Le Lavandou. It is a cute little city with lots of things to do. Great beaches are around, depending on what you like you might choose a one that's a bit of a drive. The cottage is small but well equipped and all space is used very smart. The kitchen offers a dishwasher and a washing machine, that came in handy with two small children. The pool is absolutely excellent in any way, you just have to know that it is a walk of a few minutes down and up a steep hill. We felt very secure within the domain, the people are very friendly. In Bormes les Mimosas hatte man die Möglichkeit zu entspannen und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Strände der Umgebung sind sehr schön, das Wasser sehr klar, sogar am Stadtstrand von Le Lavandou. Möchte man nicht direkt zum Strand fahren, kann man den Pool des Clubs nutzen. Das Ferienhäuschen ist etwas klein, aber es ist alles vorhanden , was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind, auch wenn man sie nur über Mailkontakt etwas kennenlernen konnte sehr zuvorkommend . Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. The property was the best equipped of anywhere I have ever stayed, and probably the securest, I am partially disabled but I didn't encounter any problems, the weather was great there was another forest fire which was quite frightening, although it was a few kilometres away, we were able to get to the beaches easily I would recommend 215 to anyone as a good holiday base Rachel Lyons My Response Thank you for reviewing our property. We visit regularly each year and try to supply everything that we or our guests need for their holiday to create a home from home stay. Our property is sited on a private residential Domaine and security is first rate meaning that only those people authorised to visit may do so. We look out towards to Medieval town of Bormes les Mimosas and are ideally placed for visiting this area.
The chalet is brilliant with everything you could need and more. The site is beautiful with its own pool and a lovely Resturant just outside the site. Inside the chalet there was more than enough room for the four of us and all the equipment and utensils you could need for a family holiday. The town of Le Lavandou is beautiful and has a wonderful laid back style. Many evenings spent walking along the seafront or days spent on the beaches. There are lots of amenities nearby to keep everyone amused and entertained. We flew down from Edingburgh to Marseille and then home on the train - it is an excellent location for what ever mode of transport you travel down by. Thank you for two gorgeous weeks in the chalet and we hope to stay at Le Lavandou sometime soon. My Response Thank you for this fantastic review. A delightful little chalet in unique domaine. The chalet is very well equipped and there are wonderful views from the patio. The domaine has a superb swimming pool ideal for keen swimmers, with an attendent who keeps it in a very clean state. We have had many enjoyable holidays here. Le Lavendou, in our own words, is a hidden gem. My Response Thanks for your very good review of our chalet. If you love France Le Lavandou is the most beautiful place to go, and the Domaine des Maurels is an exclusive place to stay. This accommodation, though compact, is clean, well equipped and has some of the most beautiful views on the site. The outside area is the only living room you need and is plentifully equipped with loungers and good shade. The beds are the most comfortable of any of the several properties we have stayed in on site. There is a lovely pool on site. The area caters to many ideas of a holiday, lovely beaches, good restaurants (from goat farms to gourmet), classic little hill villages, great night life and the VE day fireworks on Lavandou beach are not to be missed. The owners, Ian and Caroline, are easy to deal with, accommodating and efficient. We had a great holiday and would love to stay here again. My Response Thanks for this fantastic review.
