We loved every second of our stay at Wagon Hill. As it was a winter break the host ensured that the gite was warm and cosy at all times. The decor in the accommodation is just beautiful. There was everything we could have needed in the kitchen. Plenty of fluffy towels in the bathroom. The bed was huge and very comfortable! Honestly we couldn’t have asked for more…. Wagon Hill we will definitely be back We visited some nearby towns and villages and enjoyed some beautiful food and wine!

Wagon Hill exceeded expectations; photos cannot do it justice. Sitting on a hill the views are stunning and not having to share a pool with the owners is the main reason we booked this gite. It is comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need down to pool towels and bathrobes! The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and really appreciated after the long drive from the ferry; but this is one journey that is worth the effort! Brenda and David were very helpful, even booking restaurants and kayaking on the Dordogne for us! This is their first summer season and I can say they cannot do much more to offer the perfect getaway.

Our stay at Gite Wagon Hill was a wonderful experience. It was a very high standard of accommodation, where everything we would need or wish was catered for and the attention to detail was superb. The communication with owners was seem-less , nothing was too much trouble . Loved the pool , the view and the serenity . We will definitely be returning, thank you for a wonderful break way .
