Description
Labarthe is the ideal location for your Dordogne vacation, set between the bastide towns of Eymet and Issigeac in the beautiful Southern Dordogne region just 20 minutes from Bergerac airport and 1hr 40 from Bordeaux airport.Every day of the week you can visit a different market within a 30minute drive.
The thriving market town of Eymet has a great selection of bars and restaurants including Italian, Peruvian and régional french cuisine.
Labarthe consists of three main buildings (main house, Cottage and Pigeonnier) which surround a large graveled central yard at the end of a 250 metre private drive way.
Labarthe Pigeonnier, a detached cottage that has been renovated and tastefully decorated throughout. It features stone walls with solid oak beams, and retains all its old charm and character.
At the front of the property is a large lawned area, set with fruit trees. While your stay in the Pigeonnier, enjoy the privacy of your own pergola shaded terrace with patio furniture, BBQ and use of the pool.
Fully self-contained very well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, with quality Marks & Spencers Linen and fluffy bath towels, pool towels are also included....We would like you to think your home from home. Both French and English TV.
For the cooler months, a pellet burner will keep you warm, extra pellets can be purchased locally. Pool open May - October weather permitting.
Little furry guests are very welcome (15kg max), they’re also on holiday, so take them out with you while you explore. Bring along their favorite dog bowls and bedding to make them feel at home and comfortable in the cottage. There is a local vet in Eymet for any doggy emergencies.

Leave ReviewA wonderful home for our holiday

The bed linen and towels were lovely quality and Jenette had provided every essential, such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc., which made it all so much easier for us to settle in quickly and enjoy ourselves. A fabulous pool and pool area, along with a large private garden meant we had lots of places in which to relax outside of the house. Just a 10min drive into the beautiful little town of Eymet, with all its attractive cafe's, shops and restaurants - I'm going to miss the amazing French food & drinks! Thank you Jenette for providing such a welcoming place for us to stay, we couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice stay
By Hubert on 11-Aug-2024Very Nice stay. Jennette was always there ready to help, and support with all questions we had. Great documentation to help guests to find their in the house and in the countryside around Jennette's place. Pool is great and has been much appreciated by the kids.

Great airbnb
By Kendra on 28-Jun-2024Great airbnb. We had little choice because we had a dog along but this turned out to be an excellent one, dog or no dog. Jenette met upon arrival and was always available for our questions. Its a beautiful property and perfect for hanging out with the family
Really lovely place to stay
By Sharon Bennett on 03-Jun-2024Really lovely place to stay. We were in the area for a wedding over the weekend and the gite was perfect for our family group of 5 adults to stay. Jenette was very helpful prior to our arrival. We only stayed for 3 nights but could quite happily have stayed longer. Definitely need a car to access the surrounding area and villages.
