Description
Moorview Cottage is a peaceful retreat on the edge of Dartmoor, ideal for both relaxation and outdoor adventures like walking or hikingOpen all-year-round, the cottage welcomes visitors with a Devon cream tea, cake, or biscuits on arrival. Amenities include bed linen, towels, and full fibre broadband WiFi. Outdoor activities such as walking, geocaching, wild swimming, and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, with direct access to local footpaths and close proximity to Route 27 – a mostly flat and traffic-free cycling route ideal for all levels.
Cyclists are welcome, and secure bike storage can be made available with notice (padlocks not provided). The cottage is popular with returning guests and first-time visitors alike.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms 1 king, 1 double and 1 single, with shower room and WC, upstairs there is a large open plan kitchen diner living room with a 2nd WC in bathroom
Moorview is a spacious, granite-built converted barn located in a peaceful hamlet at the foot of White Tor on the western edge of Dartmoor. It offers self-catering holiday accommodation with three bedrooms (king-size, double, and single) for up to five guests. Discounted rates are available for one or two guests.
Check in is from 3.00pm and departure is by 10.00am

It has been a rather wet week this time but we did manage some good dry sunny walks up on Yar and Corndon Tor and also a walk back from Belstone village. RHS Rosemore was a good day out as always. This has been our 2nd holiday at Moorview Cottage and we look forward to coming back again hopefully next year.
