Everything was perfect and Anne has created a beautiful home away from home. Luxurious, well equipped, right next to the beach and photos don't do it justice. Stunning
King's House is a beautiful old property. Very spacious, with plenty of room for a large family group. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the mod-cons you would need, plus lots of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. More than you would ever need! The house is well presented and comfortable. Bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. very clean. Plenty of towels and hairdryers. A few minutes drive from the centre of Scarborough - or you could walk, if you had the energy! Near the station - where there is an hourly train to York. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for holiday accommodation in Scarborough. And I would certainly go again! The owner does everything to make your stay hassle-free, including free parking zone tickets. Very friendly, efficient, and approachable. We had a wonderful time at King's House! If you're looking for a clean, comfortable house which can accommodate a large group of people, this is it!
Our large family group enjoyed a stay at Kings House and the house exceeded all of our expectations and was well suited to our need for space and being able to spend time relaxing, eating together and enjoying Scarborough. The house was clean, comfortable, well furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved being able to all sit in the kitchen together around the massive island and enjoy an informal breakfast and then have plenty of space in the dining room for our evening meal. The house is a short walk from the beautiful sands in the South Bay which is where we spent much of our time as we were blessed with great weather. We even managed to swim in the sea! All in all, a great base for a holiday and we would highly recommend the house.
