Leave ReviewThe Vestry from 20/9/25 for two weeks wonderful experience on every level.
By Carroll and Lorraine Yates on 20-Sep-2025My sister and I (both elderly) had a superb holiday in the beautiful, well appointed, cosy cottage in a great location. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Whilst within easy reach town, country and coastal amenities, including fantastic views. A stunning night light display in the garden added to the magical atmosphere and all the while enjoying an amazingly generous welcome pack. The host .Linda and David were very friendly and accommodating. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to return.
Amazing cottage, perfect for a short or long stay. Beautiful back garden and well appointed interior.
By Mac on 23-Aug-2025We were blown away with how welcoming the hosts were and the goodies they provided us when we arrived. The cottage is everything and more than we expected. The rooms were clean, the facilities were great, the back garden was an amazing place to relax and catch some sun. The cottage is a short drive to all the attractions in the area and for convenience there is a small post office a short walk away which stocks most essential supplies. We would definetely recommend staying at the cottage and hope to come back in the near future.
Excellent cottage and hosts
By Amy and Andy on 05-Jul-2025We really loved it here, house was spotless and had everything we needed. Garden was beautiful and we loved dining al fresco. Very secure for our fur kids as well they also enjoyed the garden very much. Good location to explore the IOW, although because of the beautiful weather we mainly stayed on Ventnor beach! Such a thoughtful welcome pack and appreciated a mid stay linen change. Will definitely return. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Amazing cottage
By Sue Levitt on 26-Apr-2025Vestry cottage is such a beautiful property and immaculately kept. There is everything you need for your stay with all of the home comforts you would want. The welcome goodies were amazing and certainly kept us going all week. The cottage is situated in the south of the island which is beautiful and there are so many places to visit, country walks and beautiful beaches. I would definitely recommend a stay there and we hope to go back again.
Pukka place and host.
By JulianG on 11-Oct-2025Second stay at vestry cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Super quiet location with a very nice village shop within a ten minute walk. Linda is a great hostess who left us a wonderful welcome package of treats and goodies. She is easily contactable and the cottage is always clean and welcoming. We have already booked again for 2025.
A lovely cottage
By Teresa Le Compte on 14-Sep-2024We recently spent a wonderful week at Vestry Cottage in St Lawrence. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean , quirky and so thoughtfully kitted out, with a real attention to detail. The garden is very pretty and as we were really lucky with the weather we were able to sit out in the afternoons and evenings. We received a fabulous welcome pack from Linda and David too. Vestry Cottage was ideal for our lively spaniel, with lovely walks from the front door and is a really good base to explore the island and all it has to offer. We will be back!
