10/10 Excellent
By Karen R on 26-Sep-2026This was our third year renting this magnificent house. The house is very comfortable with a spacious common area and nice kitchen where we enjoyed preparing Italian meals with local fresh ingredients. Situated on a hill, the house overlooks the valley below and sea in the distance. The three outdoor spaces, pool, kitchen, and patio, all connected with lovely gardens, give this property an estate-like feel. Sunrises from the patio are not to be missed! The location is perfect for exploring the towns of Puglia and is close to beaches, golf, and other recreational activities. The town of Fasano keeps the Italian il riposo, but at night it comes alive with shops and a wide variety of restaurants. Historic Monopoli and the beach town of Savelletri are short rides. A great house to base from as you explore Puglia, or to simply enjoy for a bit of down time.
Authentic Puglia Holiday
By Rebecca Margaret H. on 15-May-2026If you want a truly authentic Puglia holiday accommodation experience with plenty of space, surrounded by olive trees and peace and quiet, then the property is perfect. The location was perfect if you are wanting to visit places such as Osunti, Alberobello and Monopoli; all within 30 minutes by car - You will need a car, unless you just want to stay by the pool all day. Jo and Katia were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful and private Trullo
By Jennifer A on 03-Jun-2026We had a really lovely stay here in May 2026 as a family of five, and we'd happily return. The trullo itself is beautiful and suited us perfectly — very private and peaceful, with a pool the kids adored. Cleverly built, too: even in 30C heat it stayed naturally cool inside, so we never once needed the air con. It's a wonderful base for exploring. We had easy days out to Monopoli and Ostuni and discovered plenty of lovely local beaches, and the nearby zoo safari was a real highlight for the children. Italy really comes alive in the evenings, too — some of our loveliest moments were spent wandering Monopoli and Ostuni after dark. Do go in knowing it's genuinely remote — it's an 8–10 minute drive to the nearest shop — but for us that was part of the appeal.A couple of honest notes for future guests: the local cats can be a bit of a nuisance, and there were dogs barking through much of the night. The roads around the area also take some adjusting to if you're used to driving in the UK, France or Spain — busier and a little more chaotic — though nothing we couldn't manage. All in all, a beautiful, peaceful spot and a great property for a family. Highly recommended.
