Only 25 minutes from Brindisi airport. A great location from which to explore Puglia.

BBQ, loungers and lots of outdoor spaces to sit and relax. Outdoor shower to rinse the sand after the beach.

Owner lives next door but is very respectful of guests privacy. She does her utmost to provide an enjoyable stay.
She is a practicing artist and is available for private lessons in Painting or Mosaic.
Bellaterra is also ideal for single travellers.

Great pearl in Puglia
By CK on 16-Aug-2026We stayed 11 days in Louisa's great and unique trullo. The location is perfect, very relaxed and quiet with a lot of sitting areas in a beautiful garden. The view is amazing and the very clean pool is big enough to refresh on a hot day. Although the trullo is located in a rural area it is the perfect location to discover Puglia as it is close to the coast and many other Puglian beautiful cities. The trullo offers everything you need and was so well equipped that we did not miss anything at all! There is a washing mashine (outside), a fully equipped kitchen and although the trullo is small you will have everything you need. The aircondition in the bed room was great as during our stay it was always very hot outside. Everything was very clean and Louisa is a great and very lovely host. She lives next door and was always helpful with any matter and we had the pleasure to taste her delicious typical Puglian food and olive oil. She has even been that kind to draw with our daughter. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful and unique base to enjoy Puglia, Bellaterra is the perfect place with a perfect host!

A traditional Puglian property with magical surroundings
By Nicola B on 21-Jul-2025Bella Terra was exactly as described and just what we were looking for. Off the beaten track, Louisa’s property is a Puglian gem if you want to get away from it all. Louisa is a wonderful lady who lives next door. Although she is always on hand if you need her, she is very mindful of her guests and their desire for privacy if needed. She is so thoughtful, a fridge stocked with everything we could need for the first day or two and a basket of fruit, homemade jam and bread greeted us upon arrival. The property has everything you could need during your stay and there is air conditioning in the bedroom which was a godsend whilst we were there. There are multiple outdoor areas to sit and eat, sunbathe & sleep and the large dining table with covered pergola is lovely to use for meals - we sat there for all of ours! The pool is kept beautifully clean and was so good to use on the hottest of days - there are lilos provided too! The view from the pool and roof terrace is amazing and you can see all the way down to Santa Sabina. At night there are fairy lights in the grounds of the property which just adds to the atmosphere. We cannot fault our stay and Louisa was the perfect host.
Lovely stay

She had stocked up with food and drinks before our arrival and supplied towels cleaning equipment and everything else you could need. The garden was a lovely oasis with plenty of areas to relax with a cool drink and read a book or just doze after a day at the beach. Nearby Carovigno had a great choice of restaurants and good supermarket. Great attractions like Ostuni and Alberobello were easy to reach by car and it's just a few minutes to the train station for an easy trip to Lecce. Louisa was helpful in all respects even when we arrived really late due to diverted flight. We really enjoyed our time there and happily recommend it
A wonderful stay
By KTN on 27-Jun-2024Our stay in Carovigno at Louisa Trullo was lovely.The outdoor space is just amazing, flowers and fruit trees and too many places to choose from for relaxing. We enjoyed the sunset from the roof deck, cooled off in the pool and ate every meal outdoor. Louisa is a wonderful host and her gift of wine,dried figs jam and breakfast and snack provisions was much appreciated. She thought of everything including beach towels, chairs and umbrella. We loved our stay in Puglia and Louisa and her home were so much a part of our enjoyment there.
An oasis of tranquility
By Lynne h on 02-Sep-2023We had a wonderful stay at Bella Terrace. Louisa is an amazing host, there if you need anything but never intrusive. The inside accommodation is compact but comfortable and has everything you need. Outside is just amazing with so many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. It was great to have the pool to cool off. This is a good location for getting around, the train station just 5min drive with frequent service to Lecce and Bari. Our only complaint is that the time went so quickly.
Our dream vacation

Central to some of the best towns to visit in Puglia whether by the sea or countryside.Louisa is an amazing host and the details she includes in your stay are amazing. You have a starter for breakfast, lunch and vino all included. Our stay was over the top and would highly recommend to a couple wanting a peaceful garden stay in Puglia.
