Description
The villa benefits from a quiet and secluded location among century old olive and fruit trees and is a 12 minute drive from the historic “white town” of Ostuni with its many excellent restaurants, and conveniently close to Carovigno for local shopping, bars and “take away” chicken from the Rosticceria (recommended!). We are also only a 15 minute or so drive from the coast with its beaches, lido’s and nature reserves.The house is composed of 3 bedrooms (two with queen-size beds, one twin), 1 family bathroom and two en-suites (all with shower, toilet and bidet). There is air conditioning in two of the bedrooms and remote control fans in the picturesque “trullo” bedroom, which remains cool throughout the summer. Central heating is also available for low season rentals
There’s a modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, gas oven and microwave; plus a large freezer and a washing machine for guest use within an outside utility room.
The cool and spacious open plan lounge/dining room features comfortable furnishings and a long table that’s ideal for family dining.
There is a 48 inch TV with Sky and a DVD player. We also provide a large selection of books and popular games plus a comprehensive collection of English DVD’s (suitable for all the family!) for guest use.
At the front of the villa is a spacious covered veranda with table and benches for dining and relaxing. There is a pagoda area featuring jasmine bushes with a stone table a BBQ oven. A roof terrace with distant sea views is reached via stone steps.
One of the highlights is a large and fully fenced and paved swimming pool 14m x 8m with diving board and lights. The pool garden area features 9 olive trees, lemon fig trees and is surrounded by oleander bushes. The pool and terraces are illuminated for evening relaxing and swimming. In 2024 we installed a bar by the pool with fridge for easy access to cooling drinks!. There’s plenty of paved sun terrace around the pool for secluded sunbathing and relaxing, with large modern sun umbrellas and loungers provided.
Our “meet and greet” service (English speaking) ensures that you are welcomed to the villa and shown how everything works, We also supply linen, bath and pool towels and a welcome hamper
We include the use of Electricity, Air- Conditioning, use of water and Gas, and have installed Wi-Fi which is complimentary.
PS: All Villa owners in Italy promoting their properties for rental must now by law have a CIN (Codice Identificativo Nazionale) code issued by the Ministry of Tourism confirms that they pay their taxes in Italy. Our CIN Code is IT074012C200050387.
PS: Ostuni Tourist Tax: From 2026 onwards we will have to charge Euro 2 per person (12 years and over) per day for the first 5 days of your stay. This will be collected in cash by our Villa Manager at the end of your stay, who will submit to the local tourist authority. The tax is intended to finance and support local tourism.

Wonderful Ten Days
By Claire Savage on 13-Jul-2026Wonderful ten days at the villa and surrounding area. We loved Ostuni - Il Posto Affianco and Opera Prima both excellent . All the ice-cream shops were a hit and we loved the lemon sorbet and strawberry granita..... Alberobello was worth the trip too and we very much enjoyed all the local food - burrata. olive oil, tomatoes and orecchiette pasta. We did a cooking class just south of Ostuni that was reasonably priced and fun. We also enjoyed the food at Cantinone Coppularossa, Carovigno - the rest of the town wasn't very alive at lunchtime! Your Wonderful Villa

We did a fabulous wine tasting session and a great cooking course, both of which we would highly recommend. We also enjoyed chilling by the fabulous pool. I did water your plants every morning as requested. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the villa to others or come again if the chance to be there came around. Thanks for all your help in making it easy .

A Comfortable stay at Villa Tamburroni
By AUDREY LLOYD on 06-Aug-2025Had a comfortable stay at Villa Tamburroni. Air con was very welcome in the bedrooms and my daughter loved the trullo room. Had quite a bad storm one evening but unlike the UK, the electricity came back on within minutes. Stayed fairly local but had day trips to Alberobello and Polignano al Mare. Ostuni was a highlight for shopping, eating and generally getting lost in the winding streets. Recommend Il Posto Affianco. Also Vicolo 43 in Villanova. Thank you for the wonderful hamper – very welcome after a delayed flight and no chance to get food at 11pm. Thanks too to Francesco for a warm welcome so late at night and helping when our son was ill.
We absolutely loved it

The pool and pool bar are even better than the pictures can illustrate, plus it is so peaceful and comfortable, with full sun or shade (parasol). The town of Ostuni is really close (but car is essential) with loads of lanes, shops, restaurants etc to enjoy for hours…… Enjoy !!!
