Welcome to Villa Gioiosa Vacation In Sicily, a Stunning & Luxury 5 bedroom Child-Friendly villa with air-con and fast wi-fi, refurbished and finished to a high standard with its own spectacular private fenced & gated pool with hydro-massage, set in an oasis of peace surrounded by beautiful sicilian scenery just minutes from the centre of town where you will find all necessary services for a smooth and relaxing holiday like restaurants, supermarkets, banks, bars, butchers, greengroceries, post office, fresh fish shops and much more......
Completely indipendent being a detached villa gives you total privacy and accomodates families with children as well as small or large groups of friends/family (up to 12 people) ensuring comfort for each person. You will enjoy pleasant moments of pure relaxation by the pool and spend cheerful evenings grilling with our large BBQ in company or under the wooden temple style gazebo with lounge area a few paces from the outside kitchen with Pizza Oven that provides ample "AL FRESCO" dining space, giving you a wonderful experience of the Sicilian way of life.
The interiors are spacious, bright & functional and will garantee all comforts for a relaxing stay. It is internally divided into 2 floors in which are located 5 bedrooms with ceiling fans, 3 bathrooms and 2 living rooms.
One of the living/dining rooms and the fully equipped kitchen with air con and ceiling fans are located on the ground floor that leads straight to the outdoor area (all on a flat surface ideal for people with mobility problems) together with a single bedroom and a shower room. The other 4 bedrooms, shower room, bathroom, living room with air con & a large panoramic veranda with beautiful views over open countryside and stunning views of the pool are located on the 1st floor.
Our pool is secluded and quiet, surrounded by extensive patio, furnished with many sun lounges & parasols to relax under the shade and an open air outside shower by the pool to give that extra comfort to our guests.
It is also been designed with the safety of children in mind therefore not only the entrance to the pool is via the gate but it is also fenced & padlocked with the added bonus of hydro-massage in the shallow part of the pool only 60cm deep ideal for babies & toddlers, all this allowing parents to relax without worrying about leaving their children unattended near the pool.
Our villa is ideal for families with children that will be well entertained throughout the whole stay as we provide a fantastic & large sandpit full of swings, slide, sea-saw, 10ft trampoline with security net, bucket & spades, balls, football table & much more inside & outside toys.
Baby-Friendly Amenities: We provide essential baby items to save you from packing them, including cots, highchairs, strollers, and much more. It’s all about making your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Villa Gioiosa is also only a short drive to Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples, and the beautiful beaches of San Leone, making it the perfect base to explore the best of Sicily and offering both the charm of the countryside villa and the latest modern comforts.

Wonderful Place

Especially the pool and the outside area was a pleasant place to be during the day. The children loved playing in the sand and at the trampoline. Our last day we enjoyed a very nice pizza evening together. We also enjoyed picking our own lemons and fruit from the garden. Thank you for everything and blessings for the upcoming season. We had a beautifull time with our family in villa Gioiosa. The pool and garden where like a paradise. Also the pizza party by the owners was nice. The 3 bathrooms and 5 sleeping rooms give us enough space. The little kids played on the trampoline or garden. See the review if my daugther at the 1e picture.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Villa Gioiosa in Sicily and would book this property again without hesitation. The villa was very clean upon arrival and exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, inlcuding a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. One of the highlights was how family-friendly the villa is. The swimming pool is fenced, providing extra safety for families with children. There is also a small playground with a trampoline, swings and a sandbox, which our children absolutely loved. The rooms were well equipped too. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and there are 2 air-conditioning units that keep the villa pleasantly cool during hot days. Another major advantage is the high level of child safety throughout the property. The balcony, the gate leading to the road and the entire grounds are designed with safety in mind, allowing parents to relax and enjoy their vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Villa Gioiosa to families and anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Sicily. Best regards and hopefully see you again soon!
Amazing stay at Villa Gioiosa Vacation In Sicily
By Richard Williams on 02-Jul-2026We had an amazing stay at Villa Gioiosa Vacation in Sicily in June 2026 and would highly recommend it! The villa is beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday for the family. The secure pool area was one of the highlights, with plenty of shaded seating areas to escape the Sicilian sun while still enjoying the outdoors. Our children loved the sandpit, which was a thoughtful addition and kept them entertained. The location is also excellent with a supermarket just a 5 minute drive away making it very convenient. The villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The only small suggestion for improvement would be to provide some basic cleaning products as we needed to purchase our own during our stay. A special thank you to Carmelina, who was a fantastic host, she was friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond to any questions, making our stay more enjoyable. We had such a wonderful stay and wish we could only stay longer. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend Villa Gioiosa Vacation to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and family friendly holiday in Sicily. Thank you again! Amanda hewer
Lovely stay at Villa Gioiosa

The outdoor spaces are very pleasant, perfect for enjoying the beautiful Sicilian weather. We especially appreciated the pool with its loungers, summer kitchen, and barbecue. To make it perfect for future guests' children, some pool toys would be appreciated. Special thanks to Carmelina for her kindness and availability.
