A warm welcome to La Perla del Mar, our family run and personally maintained coastal penthouse, a stones throw from the unspoilt El Penoncillo beach, a superb home from home and the ideal place to enjoy a laid back Andalucian beach holiday whilst the more bustling neighbouring resort of Nerja is just a 5 minute drive away. Individually furnished, La Perla is the perfect place to unwind; relax overlooking the Med' on your own private wrap around terrace which has dining suite and sunloungers, or spend time chilling at the pool where a lawned sunbathing area with Mediterranean style lawned gardens also overlooks the sea. Penoncillo beach is just opposite at an approx 250m stroll away, where there are some superb beach chiringuitos/ restaurants serving BBQ'd fish and typical Andalucian dishes, fresh and reasonably priced. There are local tapa bars and cafes and a few minutes further brings you to the promenade at Torrox costa itself with a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes and a beautiful blue flag beach.
There is a local bus service (bus stop nearby) there are also usually plenty of taxis...this is an ideal base for exploring further afield; the white villages of Frigiliana and Torrox pueblo, Nerja caves and Maro, Torre del Mar and Malaga, Granada, Ronda and Cordoba all within reach for the more adventurous!
Well maintained Accommodation comprises: Entrance hall with entry phone system, Modern fully tiled shower room with large walk in shower, Large Master bedroom with King size bed ( 2 singles joined together, so could be split if required) enjoying superb sea views and direct access to the sun terrace, a further spacious double bedroom, fully fitted Kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, electric kettle, microwave, coffee machine and toaster ! Lounge Dining room overlooking the terrace and the sea, which also has Air con, ( available June to Sept,) portable gas fire for cooler days, additional panel heaters, fixed fans in bedrooms, free wifi and satellite Tv in various languages including English, Spanish, French, German etc.
The urbanisation also benefits from a large pool with lawned surrounds and tropical plants, straw umbrellas in Summertime, plus tennis court for guests to use. Sea and mountain views in all directions!
Additional cleaning procedures:
The property is always comprehensively cleaned between bookings, we are now introducing a 2nd stage disinfectant clean before each new arrival. Cleaning products including bleach will also be at the disposal of our clients for their own use if required.
No contact check in procedure:
This has always been our policy in order to respect our guests privacy, but will be even more relevant from now on, we would therefore like to reassure our guests that keys will continue to be made available for self check in.

PLEASE NOTE; the penthouse is situated on the 6th floor accessed by a lift to the 5th floor then a stairway to the 6th, so this should be taken into consideration when travelling with infants or the elderly/infirm
