Superb location offering mountain views and walks and a short drive to the coast, since the new motorway has opened.
Arboleas, a traditional mountain village is a 7 minute drive away with a weekly market, cafes, bars and restaurants. The larger town of Albox offers a wider selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
Lots of places to visit and things to do. The beautiful beaches of Mojacar, Aquilas, San Juan de Los Terreros, Aqua Amarga, LosMuertos, Vera Player are all worth a trip. If you are after some site seeing then head to Saliente Monastry, Almeria Town and Alhambra Castle, Mojacar Pueblo, Cuevas de Almanzora to see the cave houses and castle, Garrucha harbour and great fish restaurants and Vera that has one of the oldest bull rings in Andalucia.
If you are in search of more action packed activities there are many picturesque walking and bike trails or caving in Sorbas.
There is a great water park at Vera and the Lunar Cable Park if you are looking for wakeboarding, paddleboarding and other water sports. The Cabo de Gata offers kayaking and snorkelling and 4 x 4 desert tours and horse riding exploring the salt flats in search of the flamingos.
The area also boasts a selection of great golf courses: Aguilon Golf, Valle del Este, Club Marina Golf Mojacar, Desert Springs, Alboran and La Envia.
Also most villages have a weekly market.

The property offers a walled and gated garden with a private pool area, surrounded by a tiled patio, with a stunning mountain back drop, equipped with comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs. There is an alternative shaded area outside the lounge with additional table and chairs. All rooms are fully equipped with new air conditioning and ceiling fans Lounge with table and chairs and sofas, TV with all channels, kitchen with table, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, washing machine. Three bedrooms all doubles. Bedroom 1 with ensuite bathroom and king size bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have 2 single beds. 2 bathrooms one ensuite with shower basin and toilet. Family bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and basin.
