(This ground floor apartment is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with 2 pools in the picturesque area of Arenal d'en Castell, the gardens and pools, with ample loungers around the pool and only being available to guests of Costa Arenal. The accommodation is light and sunny and is furnished and decorated to a high standard and sleeps 4. There is a shaded terrace with white oblong metal table and seating just perfect for eating outside, together with a private garden area with additional bench seating and two wooden lounger chairs. On the lower level two wooden sun loungers to help you relax and enjoy the last of the day's sun, from May the sun is on the lower level of the garden until 6.00/7.00pm. There are shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants only 5 minutes walk away together with the lovely gently shelving sandy horse-shoe bay with its clear shallow water, perfect for all. Son Parc golf club is a 10 minute drive. A perfect setting for your perfect holiday.

The apartment is a few minutes stroll away from the beautiful gently shelving beach of Arenal D'en Castell, with clear shallow water, just perfect for children. There are bar cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets within minutes walk. You can discover the more well known places on the island, Fornells, we visit every time we are in Menorca, small but beautiful, you can shop, have a meal or just sit in a cafe and watch the world go by. Es Castell is another favourite of ours with its lovely waterside restaurants and cafe/bars. Mercadal and Alaior are typical Spanish towns and the streets on a Friday or Saturday evening are filled with people and chatter as the Spanish enjoy their weekend. Perfect.

The resort of Arenal d'en Castell is approximately 25 minutes by car from the airport. Car hire is not necessarily essential as there are various shops, bars, restaurants, together with numerous activities for children within Arenal d'en Castell, but Menorca is a beautiful island well worth viewing should you be wanting to hire a car. There is also a very good bus service which runs very near to the apartment to various places on the island if you aren't wanting to drive. The Port of Mahon is approximately 20 minute drive away with its many shops, bars and restaurants. A small ‘train’ drives around the resort of Arenal d'en Castell and visits the neighbouring village of Macaret which has a small but lovely beach.

We have a Tourism Licence which allows Gary and I to legally rent out our apartment Costa Arenal, Arenal d'en Castell, Es Mercadel, Menorca. We also cover any Eco Tax payments on behalf of our rental clients.

Prior to your stay you will be given a 24 hour contact number for the Management Team. Cot, high chair, baby bath and child gate available in the apartment, also cot (linen if required). At the beginning of the season parasols, air beds and toys for the children, bearing in mind that items may be added to or taken away due to wear and tear. Key lock wall safe. Iron and ironing board, DVD/CDs. Electric fans. Babyliss hair dryers are also available within the apartment.

Also included is a welcome pack which changes each year (see photographs). We also have Cole and Lewis toiletries for your use during your stay. All bed linen and towels are 100% Egyptian Cotton.

Excellent Location in Menirca

La relación calidad-precio es buena, la localización es muy buena, puedes acceder a la playa en 5 min andando y algunos restaurantes. Nos gustó en especial, la zona tranquila, el balcón dónde sientes la brisa marina por las tardes y que puedas utilizar sombrilla y gafas de buceo que están a disposición de los huéspedes. Muchas gracias a Jackie y Gary por la excelente comunicación y flexibilidad para poder añadir una noche extra que necesitábamos debido a cambios de vuelo por el Covid-19. Es un alojamiento que repetiriamos manteniendo la misma relación calidad-precio. Mieke & David TRANSLATION The value for money is good, the location is very good, you can access the beach in 5 min walking and some restaurants. We especially liked the quiet area, the balcony where you feel the sea breeze in the afternoon and that you can use a parasol and diving goggles that are available to guests. Many thanks to Jackie and Gary for the excellent communication and flexibility to be able to add an extra night that we needed due to flight changes by the Covid-19. Lovely apartment in beautifully maintained complex

Spotlessly clean apartment which had all the trimmings for a fabulous holiday. A most welcome “Welcome Pack” on arrival. Lovely views of the sea from the spacious terrace, 30 seconds from the pool area and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Supermarket a minute away. What more can you ask for! Our second visit and won’t be our last, thanks

Lovely apartment, great location well equipped

Lovely quiet resort with a great beach and plenty of nice restaurants close by. The apartment was in lovely grounds with two great pools, short walk to the beach and the restaurants. The apartment was very well equipped with lots of nice extras - books, dvds. Great communication with the owners and would highly recommend staying here if visiting Arenal d’en Castell.
