Casa Christabel is a one-bedroom apartment with two single beds which can also be made up as a king size (request at the time of booking).
We welcome babies and children, however they must be included in the maximum number of guests. Infants under two are free and a cot with baby linen and high chair are also available, free of charge. Please request these at the time of booking.
The comfortable sofa bed in the living room also easily sleeps two extra 2 adults.
The apartment is set in very quiet surroundings, which will enable you to work from home if necessary. There is adequate space for you to set up a work station for your laptop and an extension lead with a usb charging port should you choose to work on the terrace.
There is a good mobile phone signal and we provide fast WiFi, free of charge.
Casa Christabel adjoins Casa Annabel which can be booked together to allow for larger groups of family or friends. Please ask the owner for any additional information required.
Our housekeeping team are pleased to be able to offer guests staying for 7+ nights, a mid stay clean (which includes a bed linen and towel change) at a cost of 60€. Please request this when making your reservation.
Requests for early check-in or check-out are subject to availability and are charged at half the nightly rental rate. This will be confirmed 48 hours prior to check-in.
There are 27 golf clubs within an hours drive from Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel, 11 of which are less than 30 minutes away and 3 within a 10 minute drive.
Spanish, U.K. & international TV plus Sky, movies and sports are included free of charge.
Please note there are steps down to Casa Christabel therefore it may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Casa Christabel y Casa Annabel are fully licensed with the Spanish Authorities.
Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place prior to booking as I am unable to permit last minute cancellations.
Adequate time is allowed between stays to allow Casa Christabel to be properly cleaned and sanitised ready for you to enjoy your holiday.
We would prefer it if smokers did not make a reservation to stay in Casa Christabel and we thank you for your understanding!
Sustainability-We have recently invested in a solar powered hot water tank which holds 300 litres of hot water, (with a backup boiler for those few cloudy days) so you will never run out of hot water.
You will find reusable dish cloths & scourers for your pots and pans and instead of providing plastic bottles of mineral water you will find a lovely glass bottle of tap water waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive.
You will find lunch boxes & refillable bottles for to take drinks to the beach with you so there is no need to buy products in single use plastic wrapping or bottles. We have also installed pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to the avoid the use of single use plastics.
Our housekeepers use eco-friendly cleaning products and the new washing machine uses only the minimum amount of water necessary. Our aircon is monitored so that it cannot be accidentally left on when you open the door or go out for the day.
You will find shopping bags and a wheel along crate to take to the shops so that you don’t have to buy plastic bags when you go shopping and we encourage our guests to sort and recycle rubbish. You will find beach toys, inflatables and a body board for your children so you don’t have to buy a new bucket and spade each time you stay. This avoids having plastic items abandoned on the beach.
Mi Jardin has a Spanish pueblo (village) atmosphere and was carefully constructed in a traditional Andalusian style.
Mi Jardin is perfect if you want to relax and get away from it all and yet all that the Costa del Sol has to offer is easily accessible.
The beautiful blue flag Carvajal beach with its highly recommended Spanish churinguito Kalifato and usual water sports, is a 15 minute (1.1km) walk away. N.B. it is a 20 minute-walk back as it is uphill. Why not treat yourself to a swim in the lovely pool on your way home?
The pool does not have a lifeguard however it is fully enclosed for safety.The pool is open from 1st march until 31st October and from 10 am-9 pm (10 pm in July and August)
Beach/pool towels are provided. We have provided sunbeds which you are welcome to carry to the pool.
The shops, pavement cafes, bars and the recommended Indian restaurant New Nirvana are at El Higueron, a 20 -minute walk (uphill) or 5 minutes and around 5€ in and Uber taxi. Aldi is only a further 5 minutes -walk away! Carvajal train station is 20 minutes-walk or 5 minutes and around 3.50€ in an Uber taxi, making Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Malaga City and the Airport within easy reach.
The trains run to the airport every 20 minutes and the station is inside the airport terminal
The journey to the airport takes just under 30 minutes and costs just over 2€.
When booking flights please note that the train stops running between 2330 and 0530, however a taxi will cost around 35€.
Airport transfers can be arranged on your behalf from 30€
There are bus stops at El Higueron at the top of the urbanizacion Torremar and also down by the beach.
A car is therefore not necessary however it would be an advantage if you like to explore.
Free communal parking is available.
Following the drought restrictions in Andalusia this summer, the community pool is open from Wednesdays to Sundays. The situation will be regularly reviewed.

By Monika on 01-Mar-2025Sarah is very caring and responsible. The apartments are very nice, the beds are comfortable, there was everything you needed like at home. Thank you! We knew that the house is on a hill and we climbed it successfully every day... We went to the center of Benalmadena by bus. It was unexpected that nature gave us too much rain.
Casa Wonderful
By Anon on 01-Oct-2025Our holiday could not have been any better!!! Casa wonderful we didn't want to go home. The grounds surrounding the apartment make for a tropical paradise with a very peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation felt so comfortable with everything we could have needed and more with a super comfortable bed. A terrace to enjoy and a great pool to splash and relax in. (we had it completely to ourselves) We hired a moped/ scooter and took ourselves off into the mountains where the views were breathtaking. Beaches close by within walking distance and cheap uber rides available if you don't fancy walking back. supermarket at the top had everything available at reasonable prices. Honestly one of our best holiday experiences because we couldn't fault a thing x Thank you Sarah x

Whether it was information about the apartments or tips about the local area, Sarah was there to assist with genuine care and efficiency. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be happily returning in the very near future. Perfect for children!

The bottle of cava and essential food items obtained for arrival were ideal as we arrived late at night. The owner Sarah is lovely and communicated with us throughout our stay which was great and made recommendations. Perfect for children kids had games, dvds and inflatables to play with on the beach. Pool is great, we all loved our stay here and would diffinitly stay again. Thank you Sarah.
Brilliant stay

Everything was provided for a brilliant stay and it made my holiday with the family so special. As my family are moving in January I probably won't be back but would recommend this lovely Casa to everyone I know - they should all experience it!
