Overview
Description
This sunny, private villa is situated in a quiet, residential area just a few minutes walk from the beach. The villa has a large balcony giving magnificent, panoramic views of the mountains and sea. In one direction you can look up into the hills and the white-walled village of Benalmadena Pueblo. In the other, the blue seas of the Mediterranean stretch out in front of you.Boasting its own unshared, secluded pool, sun terraces and gardens, the villa is ideal for a family summer holiday and for couples whatever their age. It is equally perfect for a romantic get-away.
Located just 25 minutes from Malaga Airport, the villa is situated in a quiet, mature complex that stretches from the beach back into the hills.
With gardens walled to give total privacy, visitors can relax in tranquil surroundings while access to the local sports centre with floodlit tennis and paddle courts, large swimming pool and other amenities is only minutes away, as are world class golf courses.
With just a 5-minute walk to the local railway station and a 10-minute stroll down to the beach, it is difficult to imagine anywhere more ideally positioned. The proximity of the train station and local bus stop makes it an ideal location to explore both the Costa and the 'real' Spain.
The large terraces and the private swimming pool are the first things that will greet you on arrival at the property. When you open the front door to the villa, you will look into the spacious lounge with marble floors and high ceilings complete with huge picture window and large balcony looking down to the sea. This room is equipped with a remote operated ceiling fan and air-conditioning which also provides heat in the winter. It also has a TV, cable, a DVD player, a well-stocked book-case and some family games.
Next to the main room is the fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and coffee and tea making facilities.
Downstairs are the two double bedrooms each equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans which keep them cool for those hot summer evenings, as well as the bathroom with shower and twin wash basins.
At the entrance to the urbanisation there is a bar and restaurant as well as a real-estate office in front of a renowned International English School. Just through the underpass are beaches, more bars and restaurants as well as the local 4-star hotel which has entertainment most evenings and several more bars and restaurants.
Further back in the complex is the local railway station servicing the coast from Malaga via the airport through to Fuengirola - it is even possible to take a series of trains all the way from London to the urbanisation - one of our clients did! To the side of the station there is a small road that winds up into the hills to the village of Benalmadena Pueblo which offers stupendous views over the coastal plain as well as a small restaurant on nearly every corner.
This website shows our availability as well as weekly prices throughout the year and is kept fully up-to-date. We do not let the villa during the winter months and the villa is usually closed up from November to March. For the rest of the year we normally only take full-week bookings although we do allow shorter lets (minimum 3-days) where odd days are available. For bookings of 4-weeks or longer, we offer a discount on request and we always give returning clients a small loyalty reduction.
Our preferred change-over day is a Saturday as this allows our professional cleaners to schedule the change-overs effectively. Naturally, our cleaners adhere to Covid-19 best practices and you should find the villa spotless on your arrival.
Our arrival and departure times are 11am (departure) and 3pm (arrival) although we will adjust these on request whenever possible. To allow our cleaners to tailor the change-over and try to meet your travel needs, I will ask you for your travel details (flight numbers and times) before you travel.
On booking you will need to pay a 25% deposit with the remainder to be paid 30 days before your holiday commences. Both should be paid by bank transfer. I prefer not to use credit cards to keep prices as low as possible. I can take either GBP or EUR and will provide the bank details to you on booking. Please note there is also a £250 (€300) security deposit which needs to be paid with the final amount. This is to secure against breakages or other issues and will be refunded to you as soon as I receive your bank details after the holiday has finished.
Cancellation charges will apply if you cancel within 2-months of the start of your holiday. However, these charges will be refunded if I can re-let the period you have booked.

Leave ReviewFabulous relaxing peaceful
By Sarah L on 15-Apr-2023The train being so near made us travel up and down the coast it was so easy
A real gem in a lovely area
By Bob D. on 23-Apr-2023We had a lovely relaxing four days here. The house is in a beautiful location and has lovely views from both terraces, and the house itself is very comfortable. It's away from the touristy parts, but there are enough places to eat within walking distance, as well as a Mercadona. A big plus is the proximity to the train station - we usually rent a car but traveled light this time and were at the house within 30 minutes of getting through passport control. Clive is a great host and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend and we're planning to return.
Everything you need and more.
By Mike C. on 10-Jun-2023Great villa in a quiet location. Very private with all mod cons. Lovely pool with great views from both terraces. Modern and tastefully decorated the photographs really don’t do it justice. Comfortable, clean and secure with plenty of space to relax and unwind. It’s a bit hard to find, but once you’re there you appreciate the quietness. It’s on a one way side rd and there is no through traffic. The station is an easy 4 minute walk and we used it a couple of times for shopping trips to Malaga and Benalmadena. The close proximity of the station does mean you hear a faint rumbling of the trains, which we used as a signal to turn over while sunbathing. We hired a car and we’re glad we did, although there is a small shop at the bottom of the hill, I wouldn’t fancy getting our weeks food and booze supplies back up the hill. I suppose you could get a taxi. We got Ubers when going out for dinner, they had no problem finding us once I used the pin drop to show our location. As mentioned by the host Google maps likes to send you down the wrong Rd. The hosts communication was excellent and entertaining with great attention to detail. We had a great week late in May and even on the couple of rainy days we loved being in the Villa. If you have mobility issues I could see it being a problem, as there are stairs that lead from the main Rd to the Villa and the Villa is on two levels. We would definitely stay again.
Super villa in a lovely quiet location
By John B. on 12-Jun-2023Just spent a week at this lovely villa. Agree with the other reviews, very private, super views, all usual amenities, comfortable beds and short walk down hill to the coast, a few bars and restaurants. Local supermarket is also located next to the bars, good for essentials but if you plan to cook fresh food as opposed to something out the freezer, you’ll need to travel further to one of the larger supermarkets about 3km away. We didn’t have a car but would do next time as we’d love and see more of the area but saying that the train station is near by as mentioned in other reviews and you can get to almost anywhere. Buses also run at the bottom on the road about 10 minutes walk away.
Fabulous!
By Carol D on 09-Aug-2023We had a wonderful stay at the villa. All instructions given by Clive were so clear and he answered any questions that we had very promptly. The view from the living room is spectacular. The pool was also great as it was so hot when we were there. It is so easy to get to and from the train station and the beach area, where we also used the bus. I would highly recommend booking this villa. We loved it.
Holiday in the sun
By Janet A., Woking Surrey on 19-Sep-2023Nice villa, location was good for us as we didn’t want to hire a car. Train station was very close to villa, we used it every day, did our shopping in los Boliches , supermarket opposite the train station, perfect. The pool was amazing, not too big, so you could get straight in,and cool down. Clive was an amazing host, let us know about the water being turned off, even though he was on holiday himself. Only thing missing were oven gloves, I do like to cook, so used oven. The villa was clean, nice having the bedrooms downstairs, much cooler. If you are elderly or have trouble walking, this villa isn’t really suitable, too many steps to villa, we found that bit difficult with cases, and marble steps down to bedrooms wouldn’t be good either. But if you are fit and able this villa is great, with the trains so close, not noisy though, you hardly notice them. We really enjoyed our stay.
