Overview
Description
Our villa offers a great location and comfort in spacious grounds for the PERFECT FAMILY BEACH HOLIDAY.Following upgrades over the past five years, there are now 5 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) and a separate utility room and loo.
- Four of the bedrooms have double beds. Two are super king (180x200), two are king size (150x200) and one room has two singles. One of the double beds can be un-zipped to make two singles. All bedrooms have new aircon units and ceiling fans. We also have a temporary small Z bed and a large wooden cot in storage, both can be set up on request.
- Two bedrooms have en-suite shower-rooms.
The villa is secluded from neighbouring villas and set on a quiet road in the best part of Binibeca with stunning views from the roof, beyond the beach, across the Mediterranean. The garden comprises two plots of land.
The local beach is just a 5 minute walk down the hill. At a slower pace, it might take 8 minutes on the way back.
The swimming pool is in a private secluded setting, measuring 8m long, 4m wide, 1m at the shallow end and 2m deep. It is lit up at night with an inside light and surrounding terrace lights. The pool is ideal for all ages, however IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED WHILST IN AND AROUND THE POOL AT ALL TIMES.
There are regular sightings of the tortoise family, of all sizes. Listen out for a rustling sound or go on a hunt around the second plot. They love fruit, particularly strawberries and melon.
The villa is furnished in traditional style with a modern facilities, where required.
Wifi included with smart TV and internet channels such as Netflix and YouTube and a DVD player. We recommend that you bring your own firestick if particular channels are required.
Fresh linen and bathroom towels are provided each week. Additional deliveries can be arranged through our property management team who are based close by and quick to offer assistance if anything is needed during your stay.
It takes 15 minutes to drive from the airport (taxi €25) which is close to the main town of Mahón (Maó), famous for its large natural port. Mahón is a great place for shopping by day and for restaurants and bars in the evening. For golfers, there is a picturesque 18 hole golf course on the north of the island at Son Parc.
Binibeca (Binibèquer) retains its charm, remaining unspoilt and very much unchanged since our first family holiday over 50 years ago. Most resorts have developed out of small fishing villages or around a sandy bay and many of the properties are single storey villas with distinctive whitewashed walls and red topped roof tiles.
The island has over 50 sandy bays and beaches so one is never far away. A number have developed to cater for tourists but you can also find some lovely sheltered beach coves, hidden away down a remote track.
Good local restaurants to consider: Paupa, Bambu, Barracuda, Na Rosa, Taberna Del Corso.

Leave ReviewGreat holiday
By Andrew on 02-Aug-2025Had a wonderful week staying at Simiali. Lovely, spacious villa, great location with sea views and easy walking to the beach and restaurants / shops. Having a nice garden as well as a pool was a real bonus. We loved the house and its family feel. It managed to cope with five adults and three children perfectly. We'd love to come back.
A gem
By Kate on 30-Jun-2025This is a very comfortable villa in a quiet location where all the homes are well cared for and well spaced, with mature gardens. It is very homely, despite its size. The owners are very accommodating and offer extra beds and baby equipment if needed. The pool, barbecue area and terraces are lovely, great views and plenty of space.
Oasis of calm
By Sally on 28-Jun-2025We recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying at Villa Simiali. Owned by the same family for many years, it benefits from contemporary additions but retains its authentic charm. The large, double plot garden (unusual for Binibeca) with pool is attractively landscaped and provides seclusion from surrounding villas. Situated a walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. A truly relaxing stay!
Superb in every way
By Jude Davies on 22-Sep-2024This Villa is absolutely perfect. Firstly I want to praise Simon ( the owner ) who is also absolutely perfect: easy, prompt communication and always helpful e.g Simon even went to the trouble of returning to me the earrings I left at the Villa - Thank you. My family and I first stayed here 13 years ago and the then children always remembered it for being the best villa holiday. How thrilled we all were to find the villa on this site !! On arrival we were immediately reminded that everything about this villa is just superb: traditional; comfortable;spacious;spotless, well equipped with the most comfy beds and loads of towels. The sculptured garden is spectacular: large; beautiful plants; quiet; private and has a fabulous large patio and dining area with lots of chairs, large table, shade and BBQs. The roof terrace is a bonus for watching the sunset at the end of day. The pool is a great size ( to play games and races) and spotlessly clean with many loungers. We also so enjoyed being able to walk to the beautiful sandy beach, the delicious Argentinian bakery and coffee shop as well as all the family run bars and restaurants. In fact the holiday exceeded our expectations as everything was even better than we remembered and we didn't think that was possible !
Wonderful Memories
By Fiona Kennedy and extended family on 01-Jun-2023Simiali more than met our expectations, as did the island of Menorca itself. For the perfect holiday, it’s hard to image one that was better suited to our needs. The villa had everything we wanted: A perfect sized pool for children, squeals of laughter proved that. Lots of sunbathing areas dotted around the charming garden, including one overlooking the pool. The roof terrace for private sunbathing or quiet time reading a book. It’s perfect in the evening for a pre-dinner drink à deux as you watch the sunset. We felt the villa was the perfect size for our two families of 9 people. We have stayed in villas that were too big and you don’t connect as a family. The folding doors from the living room to the garden lend an airy feel of spaciousness. The bedrooms with air-con all added to the comfort factor. The beds were new and firm, something you don’t always get on holiday. A really super location - you can walk to the beach and some lovely restaurants. Our favourite was Bambú, with a wonderful view overlooking the sea, delicious cocktails and excellent food. One only gets a few precious years holidaying with children, so to find a villa that brings such happiness is the stuff of wonderful memories. I would highly recommend Simiali and we certainly intend going back.
Perfect Relaxing Holiday
By Chris Soul on 12-Aug-2023Our stay at Simiali was absolutely fantastic. We are a family of 8 across three generations and the villa and its location were absolutely perfect for the relaxing holiday we desired. The villa and its gardens are beautiful and spacious and the swimming pool, a few steps down from the villa, was big and clean. We all enjoyed making use of it - our daughters loved splashing around the shallow end whilst parents and grandparents enjoyed swimming a few (sometimes many) lengths. There is a brilliant BBQ area and a spacious patio to dine outside. We thoroughly enjoyed the views out to the sea and across the neighbourhood. The villa is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance. The guidance and advice leading up to the trip were also invaluable with no stone left unturned We were all so disappointed to leave and hope to return again in the future.
