Leave ReviewWonderful peaceful villa
By Lorna Waters on 24-Oct-2022We had a great time here with plenty of space and fabulous facilities. The kitchen was probably the best equipped we've seen- the owners must like their cooking! We did lots of cooking in too, as we were there slightly out of season, so hardly any places were open to eat out at the times we wanted. The gardens are beautiful. The sea views are lovely. We could hear the sea too from the veranda, which was so relaxing. Netflix worked fine on the tv and the owners also provided English socket adapters which was useful. We had the pool heated which was a bit of a luxury expense, but soooo lovely! Meant we could use the pool any time of day for as long as we wanted without getting cold. This is one of the few villas we've found that offers pool heating. The area is lovely and quiet- mostly residential. You can walk to the sea in less than five mins. You can walk to the adorable fishing village of Binibecca Cell in about 10 mins. I would imagine there's a bit more going on in summer, but on the whole, the peaceful surroundings suited us. Would definitely recommend this holiday for a quiet, private family get away.
High quality villa in peaceful area
By Gareth on 16-Apr-2022We had a great stay in this villa early in the season in April. The villa is spacious, clean, comfortable and with several seating areas, inside and out. 2 of the bedrooms have lovely views overlooking the pool and the sea beyond. The small roof-top terrace has a particularly nice view all around but especially of the sea, only 50m or so away. I would note that due to the aspect of the villa, we didn't get the sun until about 10.30 each morning but this may change for the better later in the season. On the other hand, the sun steams in during the afternoons and evenings making it a particularly time to lounge around after a day out and also to make use of the BBQ facilities and ample outdoor dining area. We decided against having the pool heated and whilst fine for us, some may find a little too fresh. The pool was immaculate upon arrival and was cleaned again mid-week by the maintenance company. The road the villa is located on is very quiet (parking is off-road directly outside the villa) and the sea is a few minutes walk away. There are some excellent places for jumping off rocks into the sea within a 5 minutes walk; or a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach (Playa Binisafuller) which is delightful. Watch out for jellyfish on some days. There restaurants within walking distance but car would be highly recommended for getting about. The nearest supermarket (Next2) is expensive and you're better advised to head to a larger one for a bigger shop. The adjoining cafe though served excellent seafood. We also had excellent pizza at Ristorante Opera, a 10 minute walk to the west. Sue was prompt and professional with communication and we were impressed with the the friendly call-in we had from the local service company to check everything was o.k for us. Whilst we didn't experience any problems during our stay, we felt confident that we would have been supported if we did have any. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for some peace and quite, not wanting to be in the center of things and not wanting to compromise on views and comfort.
Casa du Bois Binibeca
By Chris B on 07-Sep-2021This was my third time staying at the Casa Du Bois and what was once a lovely villa is now an amazing villa thanks to a full refurbishment of the property. The villa comfortably sleeps 6 people and for children, young and old, the private pool is fabulous. Everything you would ever need on holiday is catered for. Even the wifi for my grandsons to use their laptops and PS4. Staying this time in August, the full air conditioning was a real godsend. While a car is necessary to see the island. Binibeca Vell is only a walk away. A real gem!

Great Villa
By Michael T. on 07-Sep-2018Lovely villa & location like home from home everything that we needed was there, i would have no hesitation in recommending this villa.
One of the best villa holidays we've had
By Peter S. on 30-Jun-2018The villa is well equipped with everything to hand. The pool is great, I personally wouldn't recommend for a family with youngsters as the drop from the edge of the pool to garden is vertical. Very quiet area, a nice walk to Spar for shopping in one direction and the little cove in the other way. Several BBQs and a pool party to celebrate our wedding anniversary. A car is vital to see the island. That's it, in summary...don't hesitate...book it.
