Winter bookings we have a slow cooker stored away.
Cupboards are fully stocked with all crockery, cutlery, cups and glass ware etc.
GARDEN
Private garden with lovely sea views, plenty of sunshine & garden loungers, ideal for those sun worshipers. Nice to have an apartment on the ground floor with the private garden, no need to use lifts which can be a bit of a chore.
MARKET DAYS
Market every Tuesday & Saturday just opposite the apartment, straight out of the main gate and you are on the market which is quite impressive. From fruit & veg to clothing, trinkets, trainers and roast chickens, something for everyone.
Additional night time markets are set up most nights during the summer months.

We think possibly the best apartment and location in the area, especially with the private garden and beach views.
Lovely and very spacious apartment, home from home without the hassle you may experience in tiny hotel rooms.
Photos provided of every room and view, what you see is what you will find upon arrival, summer, winter bedding will change along with improvements which we will implement every year.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
We will always try to have the apartment ready for you even if you have an early flight, as long as we have your flight arrival information we can plan early arrivals, no waiting until mid afternoon as with others.
Vacating the apartment at the end of any holiday period as around 10am but we will try to be flexible so don’t worry, as long as we have your flight times “well in advance” we can make adjustments. Please note that we will have little control over vacating times if flight details are delayed. Provide flight details quickly and we can plan more change over times more accurately.
Tip: Always try to book early flights each way then you are less likely to experience delays.
Tip: Booking flights as soon as they are released and you will get the best price, leave until the last minute and you will pay dearly.
Tip: Avoid these big cases as the airlines will add extortionate charges. Why not travel light, small case and a bag, remember that you can rinse clothing through in the washing machine. La Cala Finestrat is not Marbella where many dress to the 9’s, shorts, t-shirts, light blouses and simple but comfortable footwear is ideal.
APARTMENT PREPARATION
Apartment prepared freshly prior to arrival with fresh linen fitted to all beds and plenty of fresh bath/hand towels.
We will also provide beach towels for each person which saves on packing or purchasing when you are there, simple to use washing machine in the apartment for rinsing through.

AIR CONDITIONING & LARGE POWERFUL BEDROOM FANS
For those who prefer not to use air con we have installed large free to use remote controlled fans in each bedroom which are excellent.
Please take care with air conditioning, infants can suffer a really sore throat. As air conditioning will take the moisture out of the air. Many people will have already suffered a sore throat after a flight as the air onboard is extremely dry. Avoid setting the air conditioning too low.
Important……….
As in the U.K. electricity charges can be extortionate, to avoid excessive electricity charges, air conditioning usage is “metered” as many past clients would leave the air conditioning on when out of the apartment day/night or with the doors wide open.
1€ for up to and over 3 hours will activate the air con if the arrival usage is exhausted, we think is fair when considering one coffee or beer purchases in the bars can cost up to and over 3 euros.
Tip: Always set to “low fan” setting and a sensible temperature so that your euros last longer, simply turn off when not required when you go out for the day or night. Always switch off air conditioning when the doors are wide open otherwise the meter credit will use up quickly.
Air Conditioning (Further information)
Upon arrival we will have set the air con meter with up to 100 hours FREE to use which encourages clients to switch off when going out. Usage is in your control to get the best out of it. Usage time will depend on how you use it, if you set to low fan and sensible temperature with the doors closed is advised. Just be sensible, switch off when not required for example sunbathing in the garden with the doors open or out all day or night. Switch off then it’s there when you most need it.
In addition to air con, we have free to use powerful remote controlled fans in each bedroom which clients think are ideal.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT
SMOKING ALLOWED OUTSIDE AREAS.
Smoking “allowed only on the outside patio area” please dispose of cigarette ends sensibly in the container provided.
MEETING UP AT THE APARTMENT
We will meet you at the gate and provide contact phone numbers.
Once we hand over the keys it’s your home for the duration of your stay, we will not disturb you or enter the apartment at anytime throughout your stay unless invited in to solve any minor issues.
FLIGHT DETAILS ETC
We will require flight details on booking so that we can track your flight, we will have a good idea of what time you will arrive and we will be waiting without fail. On meet up we will take you inside and show you around leaving 2 sets of high security keys, important that keys are left in the apartment.
PLEASE NOTE: 2 sets of keys provided must be left in the apartment, failure to leave 2 sets of keys will be charged from your deposit. If we have any missing keys please bear in mind that all of our sets of keys and locks need to be changed so it can be expensive.
CALENDAR
PLEASE NOTE: Our calendar may not be accurate or up to date, calendar bookings can change over night and we will not update our calendar until booking deposits are received which can take a few days. Just get in touch and we will let you know what dates are available.

PAYMENT
As soon as we send full confirmation your booking is secure, time to book those flights.
Once we receive a deposit 25% we will confirm receipt by email
Balance is paid 8 weeks prior to arrival we will again email full and further confirmation including the payment received.
Security Deposit £200
Sorry that we have to request a security deposit as we have experienced some disrespectful clients over the years.
Deposit will be returned the following day after your departure provided that the apartment is left clean, free of rubbish and in good order without damage. Failure to leave the apartment in good order will result in deposit return cancellation
What we expect, and problems that may affect your security deposit.
General damage to walls, beds, bedding and towels, for those ladies we request that you use your own towels for hair dye, just ask Sara, she will leave out some old towels for you.
General apartment sofas or bedding damage.
Excessive cleaning. All rubbish must be removed including and plastic bottles.
We are not worried about small breakages the likes of glasses, cups or plates, we understand that simple accidents happen, we have plenty of replacement stock.
CANCELLATION POLICY
None negotiable.
30 days from arrival date: None refundable
60 days from arrival date: 40% refundable
90 days or more from arrival date: 70% refundable

Please Note: we are continually updating the apartment throughout the year between client bookings, pictures are subject to change. We may show photos with winter bedding (quilts) or summer bedding with throws.
NO PETS, SORRY
I’m sure that you can appreciate, we have families with infants staying so we have to make sure that the grass area is safe for children.
NEXT YEAR DATES
Next years dates and pricing will not up to date, if you are one of many who like to makes sure you can reserve this lovely apartment well in advance please get in touch and we can block off roughly the dates required giving you time to confirm accurate flight dates & times. We will of course advise pricing for next year upon request. Don’t worry, we can tighten up on dates once flights are booked and will not require any deposit until confirmed.
FLIGHTS:
Getting the best flight price is important, we advise all to register with your regular flight operator, as soon as flights are released you should receive a notification.
Remember that booking a flight as they are released you are likely to get the best price, leaving until the last minute can be very costly.

By Brian & Susan Lucas on 18-Aug-2023Alitana is a beautiful, spacious ground floor apartment with a lovely private garden and patio which has views across to the beach and the sea. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photographs, very well maintained and equipped with everything that you need for an enjoyable,relaxing holiday. The pool area which is clean and looked after is along a little garden path and we never found many people using it, especially in the afternoon when sometimes there was only my husband, grandaughter and myself swimming. We particularly enjoyed the comfort of the apartment, the convenience of having a separate shower room and an ensuite bathroom and above all the outside area where we could relax and take in the views. The beach, restaurants, bars and little shops are just a couple of minutes walk down the road and although the apartment is so close it was always peaceful and quiet. Buses to Benidorm and nearby resorts are frequent and bus stops are close to the apartment. Last but certainly not least, Alan the owner. He is such a lovely, caring person. He kept in touch with us prior to our holiday through emails and text messages sending helpful information and answering any queries promptly. He takes pride in his property and his main concern is that people who stay in his apartment have a wonderful holiday. Just to mention he also has a great sense of humour. We would definitely want to stay in Alan’s apartment in the future if we want to take a holiday in La Cala and we would highly recommend it if you are considering booking Alitana
ALITANA & SIDNEY 2 Bedroom Apartments
By Helen Graham Family on 02-Jul-2023Family Holidays April, August & October We as a family have reserved both the ALITANA 2 Bedroom and SIDNEY 2 Bedroom Apartments from Alan many times. We no sooner landed back in the UK and rebooked again for next year knowing that these apartments are popular and we didn’t want to miss out! We always reserve for 4 weeks as Alan offers us a discount, booking the ALITANA for summer (this comes with a beautiful private garden and access to a shared pool) and the SIDNEY during the winter as it has a heated swimming pool. Both apartments are perfect for us, always clean, good WiFi and full English TV channels which is great for all the family. La Cala Finestrat suits us, there are plenty of bars and restaurants, markets every Tuesday and Saturday all year round which is an added bonus and the beach is beautiful. Alitana 2 Bedroom and Sidney 2 Bedroom Apartments
By Bernie x 10 on 12-Aug-2017Bernie We have had 2 great summer holidays in Finestrat, staying at two of the apartments available with 'Finestrat Holiday Apartments'.The apartments were VERY well equipped - sun beds, beach umbrellas, washing machine. Kitchen essentials all available on arrival - washing powders etc. The apartments are very clean and comfortably furnished, with locations close to the beach and shops. The private pools at each apartment were often empty, so felt like having a private pool. The town itself has many good bars and restaurants, but for those who want to venture further afield there is a good bus service to Benidorm, the zoo and all of the theme parks. The beach itself is close to the apartments and within easy walking distance. The beach has volley ball nets and sun beds. We travelled as a group of 10, occupying 2 apartments, which included 5 teenagers. All in the party thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartments. Having direct access to an English speaking contact in the resort, was really useful too. There was plenty to do in Finestrat, and with great apartments I would definitely recommend this holiday for families
Sidney 2 Bedroom
By Russel Dove on 05-Oct-2017My wife and I have stayed at the Sidney 2 bedroom apartment on numerous occasions. Alan has always made us very welcome and is on hand if you need him. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped from washing machine down to salt and pepper mill. Alan has made all his apartments homely with pictures and flowers and keeps them in good decorative order. My wife is disabled and we do not go out of a night time so the Sky TV with all the main english channels means we can watch films or general TV. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and supermarkets. the local bus service will take you to Benidorm or the local hypermarket. Alan will also collect and return you to the airport at Alicante if you want him to. It is very quiet and peaceful area with no loud music or noisy people about and I can recommend the Sidney apartment with confidence. We will be returning to the Alitana garden apartment in Oct which is equipped to the same high standard as the Sidney Apartment
Sidney 2 Bedroom Apartment
By Pearl Gilchrist on 20-Jan-2018My husband and myself spent a month in the Sidney apartment last year and loved it. It had a lovely view of the beach and sea from the balcony. It was well furnished with more appliances in the kitchen than we have at home. The tv had british channels. The two bedrooms were a good size, both with balconies and electric blankets, hot water bottles were available if needed. The local market was in the next street, every Tuesday and Saturday and had a huge selection of fruit and veg, cooked chicken, cheeses, herbs and clothes, would take a couple of hours to browse. There are lots of bars and restaurants close at hand, most with wifi. The bus stops were also close if you wanted to venture into Benidorm or shop in the huge Carrifour supermarket. We have booked for 2 months next year as we loved it. Alan the owner is very helpful and obliging

Mini bus was waiting for us at both destination , we had a very smooth comfortable journey and very polite driver. Would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend this company .
