Description

Dos Manos, is located on the South Coast of Menorca on the rugged hillside overlooking the bay of Cala’n Porter, close to the beach and 15 mins from the airport in Mahon.
Dos Manos is a-large two bedroom two bathroom apartment with magnificent sea views over the bay of Cala’n Porter.
The property has a main bay view large.balcony and a master bedroom balcony overlooking the garden and the bay!
There is one main reception room with small kitchen dining/lounge.
Dos Manos is simply furnished with comfortable single and Kingsize beds, with white bedding.
There is a shared pool and parking behind the property.
The location is a 10 minute walk to the town with numerous bars/restaurants and there is a communal pool and parking on site.
There is a regular bus service that takes you to Mahon, and from there you can get a bus to various towns on the Island.
There are 250 ish steps to get down to the beach or you can walk down the road, which takes around 15 mins.

Fabulous views from large terrace.

Lovely position with the views of the bay and beach. To sit on the terrace and watch the boats and pedaloes is so relaxing. A couple of things we will comment on: Although we were only 2 in a 4 bedded apartment, there were only 2 sunbeds. Also the kitchen was very tiny. The gas cooker's large ring just kept puffing out (wouldn't stay lit) and could not light the oven with the lighter provided. We were disappointed as we like to eat in two or three times a week, but we couldn't. We think the cooker is dangerous. The bedrooms (both en suite and master room had a terrace) were great - another ceiling fan in the second room would have been good, but the standing fan was ok. Perhaps aircon in the future? The bedside lamps in master didn't work and the rep couldn't get them to work either. So much was provided - everything you could think of nearly, even down to a little sewing kit. Didn't find the boat. There are swings and roundabouts in every place, and I suppose being former owners we notice different things. A detailed information guide on the resort (where supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc. are) and apartment would also be useful.

Thanks Jill for your review and for you recent booking for 2024. We are new to Simply Owners and you are our first review. Our cooker was certainly not dangerous, as I had had a gas technician to check and repair a ring just before your arrival and the guest after yourself didn’t seem to have an issue with it. Ceiling too low for fan in 2nd bedroom, 2 free standing fans Bedside Lights are still working. I emailed to inform you that switches underneath light. Hope you’ll find them this year!
