Description
Casa Serena is located at the far end of Cala en Porter close to scenic cliff top walks. The Cova d’en Xoroi, a cliff-side bar in a cave and La Palette restaurant are a five minute walk from the villa. It is a fifteen minute walk to the town centre, twenty minutes to the beach.Casa Serena is a traditional style villa with modern comforts. It has an open plan living/dining area with an arch leading to the kitchen and has air conditioning throughout. Outside there are three terrace areas, a part covered terrace with table, chairs and parasol overlooks the swimming pool. For safety, drop in gates are provided to prevent children/non swimmers unintended access to the pool area. The garden and pool terrace has plenty of room for sunbeds, an outside shower and portable BBQ. Access to the roof top solarium is via a lockable gate, affording views of countryside, sea and beautiful sunsets.
Ample road-side parking is available just 40meters from the villa.
Booking Conditions:
We require a deposit of £30 per night to secure your booking.
Your final balance together with the tourist tax will be due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
A security deposit of £200 is required to cover any breakages or extra cleaning and will be refunded after your departure.
The villa will be ready on your arrival day from 16.00hrs, we require the villa is to be vacated by 10.00hrs on your day of departure.
The Balearic Island Ecotax (tourist tax) is €2+IVA per night payable by anyone over the age of 16 staying at the villa.

With over 100 beaches on the island there is something to suit all preferences. Some have easy access, some involve a hike with natural surroundings, others have shaded sunbeds for hire and beach bars or restaurants.
The Cami de Cavalls coast path passes through Cala En Porter and access to it is just 600m from Casa Serena. Although the terrain can be varied, this local section to Cales Coves is easy to walk.

By Georgie on 12-Sep-2025Myself, my partner and our mum's stayed for a week in this villa and it was perfect for our needs. The villa is homely, has everything you need and the aircon works great. The pool is a great size and the roof terrace is great for watching sunset. The villa is in a peaceful part of town but it's still only a 10 minute walk into town. Dennis and Claire were great hosts and their communication was excellent. We'd definitely look to stay here in the future ☺️

Lovely Villa in peaceful location
By Judith on 29-Aug-2025My husband and I stayed in Casa Serena for a week beginning 29th August. We had the most relaxing and peaceful time which is what we were looking for. The villa is lovely and has everything you need. The aircon works great and kitchen well equipped. We loved sitting on the roof terrace early on a morning taking in the wonderful view and again on an evening to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. The pool is a really good size and there are beautiful flowers in the garden making it such a pleasant place to swim and relax. It's an easy stroll to the shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this villa and hope to be able to visit again in the future.

A Perfect Villa Stay with Everything We Needed
By The Platt Family on 13-Aug-2025We stayed in this villa for a week and had an absolutely fantastic time. The villa was perfect — clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The pool was a highlight for the kids: just the right size and nice and deep, which they loved. A unique touch was meeting the villa’s resident turtle 🐢, whom we named Terry! He became a fun part of our holiday, enjoying lettuce, watermelon, and cucumber, often hiding in the orange flower bushes by the pool. We ate out every evening. Our favourites were: Samoa — so good we visited twice, with excellent waiter service; El Pulpo — the best paella and lasagne; Sa Pattise — where we had the best tapas of the trip; La Palette — a convenient walk from the villa; and Club Menorca — just 8 minutes away, perfect for cocktails, food, and stunning views. The villa’s location was ideal — peaceful with lovely sea views and away from busy areas. Main shops, restaurants, and supermarkets were all within a 10-minute walk, very convenient. We also visited the famous Coves, just 5 minutes away. Booking online in advance is essential to skip queues. We went in the afternoon with the kids, but the adult-only evening sessions are perfect for sunsets, cocktails, and photos. This was our third island visit, having stayed in Punta Prima and Binibeca. As always, we rented a car from Auto Victoria, the most reasonably priced and reliable company on the island. Their smooth and efficient service makes exploring stress-free. Highly recommended! The owner was fantastic — great communication, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made our stay even better. Overall, a wonderful holiday spot. We’d love to return

Lovely Villa in Quiet Yet Convenient Location
By Jacqui on 14-Jul-2025Our 3 generation, 6 person family, aged 18 to 81 had a wonderful holiday at Casa Serena, which is situated in a quiet residential location, yet is convenient for amenities, including 5 minutes walk to the excellent La Palette restaurant, 5 minutes to the well-known cliff/cave nightclub En Xoroi, (which the young ones enjoyed), 10 or 15 minutes walk to town, shops, other restaurants and the lovely family beach of Cala em Porter, Car hire for 2 weeks in high season from Autos Menorca was incredibly cheap (compared to car hire costs in Majorca, the mainland or Greece) and the villa was only 15 minutes drive from the airport, 20 minutes from Mahon and 45 minutes from the gorgeous Ciutadella.. The lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroomed air-conditioned villa itself was clean and pleasant and had everything we needed. The roof terrace has spectacular sea and sunset views. There is a large pool and terrace, which is not overlooked at all, nor is the garden. There are beautiful Mediterranean flowers and shrubs around the garden and also gorgeous colourful blooms slightly overhanging from neighbouring gardens, There is a sweet, timid, little resident native Menorcan wild tortoise in the garden, which eats the shrubbery, but enjoys treats such as cucumber, lettuce and a little melon or watermelon and gave it a drink of a capful of mineral water from an empty bottle. We loved Casa Serena and Cala en Porter and have booked for next year,

Lovely Villa
By Susan on 22-Jun-2025We were 3 friends that stayed at Casa Serena for a week in June 2025. The villa has everything you need. The kitchen has plenty of equipment. The weather was really hot the week we were there, so the air-con was needed. We didn't use the roof terrace, as it was too hot. The Pool was great and a good size. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket,bars etc. I booked Club Menorca for an evening meal. It was a lovely setting and the food was good. It's about a 10 minute walk from the villa. We got a bus into Mahon for the day from the centre of Cala en Porter,which took around 20 minutes and about 2 Euros each. A car would be good ,to see around the island Great communication with Dennis. There was no shade around the pool. Umbrellas would be good. We did sit on the balcony for some shade. I would return to Casa Serena
